Wow! While you wait knife sharpening service. At a reasonable price. In my home town. I feel that I'm a bit of a failure because I have never quite gotten the hang of sharpening knives and tools, so I've left the task to others and our knives are inevitably dull.
We heard from a former professional chef that The Knife Shop in Cotati did a good job with their knives so we gave them a try. We brought in everything (maybe 8 knives), expecting that it would be days to get them back. They said 60 to 90 minutes, so we had a walk and they were done. Our main non-serrated kitchen knife now cuts through tough Roma tomatoes, no serrated knife needed!

Read morePaid $40 to have $600 worth of Japanese Chef knifes destroyed by them. My knives are now bent because of what ever they did to them. I asked what degree they sharpened them at and the reply is hand sharpened....on a machine. Cant use grinders on cryoforged metal or else it will bend it/untemper it. Cant go putting a german edge on a japanese knife they are two different degrees and will ruin the knife it...
