The management here has changed, and it's for the worse. We had booked our wedding reception here with the old Banquet Hall manager who was very friendly and great to work with. We went in a few weeks prior to the wedding to plan out our decorations and noticed that not only did the management change to a very rude woman who lacks any tact or people skills, but the quality of the building has gone down dramatically too. Nearly half of the ceiling lights are out! We asked if they were going to be replaced soon, and the manager assured us they were ALL getting replaced the following week. But when we came back to decorate, not a single one had been replaced, leaving us with a dimly lit Hall for our reception. We asked if we could at least get some sort of discount because of the lighting situation but she refused and still charged us full price. I will never be returning for any event here, and I'll do my best to spread word of the poor quality Hall and manager so that others don't have the same...

The back room had a country western band that was loud and no decor with a cement floor and plastic rectangular church basement tables in rows. The fish fry was OK, lots of sides - Cole slaw (tasty but heavy on dressing), greens beans (canned, overcooked and my husband was disappointed they had onions mixed in), garlic mashed potatoes or a baked potato, Texas toast and choice of 3 flavors of pudding. I got the mashed potatoes and although they were garlicky enough, I can see why most people went with the baked potato with an add your own sour cream option. Having said that, this establishment looked like it had been through hell and back. It also smelled like bathroom (no kidding).
