Love this Target ! It’s a smaller store, so they don’t have quite as many options as other Super Targets , but they make it work.
Everyone here is always polite . Whenever I do a Drive Up order , the employees are always quick , efficient, and kind.
I have a terrible short term memory, and I do drive up frequently. I literally forget every time to show my code. Everyone is patient and reminds me how to. It seems silly and trivial that they are so nice about this, but I definitely don’t receive this kind of treatment elsewhere.
My ONLY criticism (and this is most likely a corporate thing versus the local store ) is for the Drive up staff to be able to accept tips on the first try. I know they are required by some policy (I heard this online , no one has ever mentioned this at this location ) that states the employee must refuse . But - especially in a climate like ours - these people should be able to accept tips ! They’re out there in every kind of weather- rain , snow , sleet , hail, etc - busting their behinds. Let us tip them!!!
Lastly , as stated I have a terrible memory , so I’m bad with names, but the female lead / manager of the Drive up is hands down one of the nicest people I’ve met in my entire life. I’ve had several times during the pandemic where I’d call and ask for her specifically because she knew when the next delivery was for essentials that seemed to always be out of stock.
Thanks Target ! Keep up...
Read moreThey refused to sell me an unassembled bicycle claiming that a liability policy prevented from doing so. The pre-assembled bicycle on the rack was poorly put together and I did not trust that a proper job had been done. While contacting guest services to follow up on this issue, I was told that there was no such policy and can only deduce that the Store Director had lied to me. Poor service and sloppy standards are forgivable since they can be improved with training and leadership, but lying to customers is a choice, and when a store director makes that choice, I choose to shop elsewhere
UPDATE 5/10/22 After contacting Target Guest Services to register my displeasure with the service I received, I was eventually connected to "Brandon" who claims he researched and was unable to find such a policy regarding the sale of unassembled bikes. He also assured me that the situation would be looked into and that Target would follow up with me once they have additional information. This was on March 20th. So far it has taken them almost 2 months to investigate this situation and they have unable to provide me with an update. Unless the purpose of a Guest Relation Specialist is to lie more in order to pacify the upset customer.
Not only did I get abysmal service from the store, but also from the people who deal with the complaints when "guests" get...
Read moreWife and I are visiting from out of country and she was excited to visit Target. We wanted to make a purchase with online-only Visa gift cards, so we shopped the store for the items we wanted and put them in our basket and in our online cart simultaneously. We went to customer service with the items and explained that we have these giftcards that only work online, so we got the items to make it easier to pick when we check out online. She said we need to wait at least two hours to complete the order. I asked why, as I had all the items right here in basket. She said that's how it works as people need time to go get the items. I reiterated that I had all the items right there. She said it doesn't work that way. She called for a shift leader at my polite request. She disappeared to talk to the shift leader over the radio and returned as the shift leader said "there's no way to rush the order," a thing I was not asking for. She said no again and that we can leave the items there. I was obviously frustrated (yet still polite) at what just happened and began to leave, and she smugly grinned and said have a nice day, happy she had "won" against the customer. Really terrible, disappointing experience. 0...
