Benson Dermatology — Local services in Covington

My experience here has been excellent! I do not understand all the complaints? I have seen many dermatologist in several states over the last 10 years while traveling. Most of them, do not listen and always push new products as though you are a guinea pig on trial. Upon my first visit with Dr. Christel C. Malinski, M.D, I had mentioned a doctor on the south shore that I had used when I lived in the area about 6-years ago. As a professional she commented how great a doctor that was. That told me she had integrity. Second, she was a very good listener and did not just tell me what she wanted to do, but also asked what I believed was giving me the best results through my experience of treatments with psoriasis. She then took action, and after 60 days with my return visit, my psoriasis was 50% clearer! She then asked what I felt was working, and then applied another treatment, she sat down and talked what I believed would be the best plan of action going forward and of with her expert advise as well. So to sum things up, my experience with Dr Christel C. Malinski, M.D at Benson dermatology in Covington has been top notch! I wrote this because of the bad reviews people have posted that I seen, it always amazes me how quickly people will post a bad review because they believe something was unfair and actually had nothing to do with actual treatment, which is why a person would even go to see a dermatologist in the first place. Most people who have great experiences usually do not take the time because they are generally happy people and looking to stay focused on things that really matter in life. I only wrote this, because I was googling the office to get the number to set an appointment for my wife, and I seen they few bad reviews, and thought....I am going to take a few...

The doctors are great; Sarah not so much. Anytime myself or my wife calls to make an appointment or speak to a nurse, she puts you on hold for 5-10 minutes. Picks up the phone and says “let me find out about something else too”. You spend more time on hold. Scheduled my wife’s appointment wrong, when telling her one date (phone call was recorded on her work phone) so we have proof. Refused to even acknowledge her mistake. BUT made sure to try and add myself on Facebook and send me a follow request on Instagram. (She did get a rude message back from myself because how unprofessional to try to add a patient and a patients husband at that).

Definitely going to report her and go higher up the medical board.

Again, the doctors are fantastic, it’s the receptionist that has a horrible attitude and doesn’t care enough to apologize over...

New patient, saw Dr Benson for injectibles, received botox and and scupltra and spent around 1200. Their are eyebags where there was not before due to the scupltra and the botox did not work past a few days. When went for second appt to ask about why it's not working, the dr walked in the room, I could see that he didn't intend on making it right,just charging more...its not even just about the money but also the time...i was told that my skin is too thick and that it would take more. I have had this done a few times before at other locations and never had a problem. I did state exactly how much I would need. I referred a friend who never had box in his forties and you cannot tell anything was done with him either. This cost too much not to work or...
