CVS Pharmacy — Local services in Covington

Doctor called my prescription in I arrived at CVS and was told that it would take 20 minutes. I said okay I'll be right back. I gave them an extra 10 minutes, I go inside and they tell me that the tech is working on it now and it will be ready in 5 minutes . 15 minutes later and 4 people who came in after me, received their meds, even a guy whose doctor called his prescription in this morning, he came and stood maybe no more than 5 minutes and received his prescription. I finally stood up and one of the people that works there ask the pharmacist if my prescription was ready she looked at her like I don't know and then finally one of the young ladies came to the register, asked what my name and date which I gave again. She kept looking in different bins and finally she found the prescription. I get in the car to leave and I see that CVS texted me letting me know my prescription was ready and that was 15 minutes after I received the text that I was still waiting for my prescription. I will not be back. New prescription for my child was dropped off on 08/19. When I arrived on 08/25 first I was told that they didn't have the prescription, then they had it but it was on hold and had been since 08/20. Apparently the insurance information I provided last month when I had a prescription filled mysteriouly dissapeared from their system and no one was sure why I was not contacted about the problem even though they had my cell on the paperwork and in the system. Worst customer service ever. I went in for Covid-19 vaccination with my mother. Their website and the pharmacy call in line states they accept walk-ins for Covid vaccinations. When I got there the lady behind the counter told me I had to make an appointment because they don't accept walk-ins even though there was a sign on the counter that read: We accept walk-ins.
