I would like to take moment to share my experience at Stefania’s Boutique in Cranston. I was told by many girls to go there and look for my prom dress, I thought I had found the perfect dress for me. It had to be taken up at the shoulders, but that was the ONLY alteration I NEEDED and WANTED done, I had plenty of wiggle room in the dress and was very comfortable in it. I went back later to pick up my dress and it did not zipper all the way up in the back. I was told in front of a store full of people that I had gained weight, and that I NEEDED to go on a diet, and drink water. As I was walking out of the place thinking to myself omg I gained like 10-20 pounds in the past few weeks I really need to start losing weight to fit into this dress, a worker said MAKE SURE YOU TAG US IN YOUR PROM PICTURES!! We want to see you all dolled up for prom. I went to not only 1 tailoring place but 4 different ones and was told by every one of them that the dress was taken in on the sides and could not be let out because the lady at Stefania’s had cut all of the extra material off my dress. So as I was telling people the story about my dress, another girl said oh they did the same exact thing to me, the dress only had to been taken up on the shoulders and hemmed and when she went back it didn’t fit her and they said oh you must of gained weight drink water and stay away from salts... THAT IS UNBELIEVABLE!! I do NOT recommend you EVER go to her for dresses or alterations. In fact 2 of the tailors I went to said oh yeah they tend to do messed up...

I visited Stefania's Boutique In Cranston, Rhode Island after traveling from central, Massachusetts. I had heard and seen such great reviews, and decided to check it out for myself. I entered the doors and was overwhelmed by the amount of dresses. I really had no idea of what I wanted. I was told by the stunning and friendly salesperson – I assume it was Stefania because she was behind the register– that there were a lot more dresses upstairs. To say that I surprised by the amount of dresses and every color of the rainbow available would be an understatement. I didn’t even know where to start looking. However, the women s upstairs were very helpful and knowledgeable pointing me in the right direction and room to begin, and were there for every step of my experience. There is literally something for everyone. I had a specific question, and the women working there answered it immediately. They know their inventory of thousands of dresses, and if they don't, Stefania is always there to help. This dress shop was perfect for the event for which it was intended. I was able to try on several dresses and come out and stand on a pedestal in order to see the dress from every angle. It’s also a one-stop-shop – they have shoes and accessories, matching bow ties, and alterations are done on the premises. It was well worth the short drive from Massachusetts, and I highly recommend this Boutique for your special event.
