Petsense by Tractor Supply — Local services in Crestview

I bought two bags of dog food this morning close to when they opened up around 9 am it’s 11/30/22 and afterward my husband mentioned he saw a bag in the garage so when I got home after running errands at noon I found the bag and realized ok I need to return this food since I don’t need that much extra dog food taking up space. I waited until I had to pickup my kids from school as petsense is not close to my house it’s a twenty min drive and when I picked them up I drove there. I get there bags in hand don’t have the paper receipt as it was not in my car I was driving and told them the situation they looked the bags up based on my phone number but then proceeded to tell me they can’t refund it back on anything but a gift card!!! If it wasn’t for the gift card I wouldn’t be stepping foot back into that store! It’s a rip off I have had plenty of times at tractor supply who owns this pathetic store where I have not had the reciept and they have still refunded to the debit card it’s a rip off and pathetic I want to warn anyone thinking of buying from here do not their customer service is appalling and when I asked if I could look up my email and see if it sent a reciept he said and I quote well I already put it on the gift card so…. This place is run by imbacels and it’s my money I just bought those bags same f-Ing day I shouldn’t have to have my receipt I should be able to get full refund if purchase is made in that 30 day window lost stores abide by I was even willing to show my license I am so annoyed and angry that they get to treat people as if we are criminals because we don’t have a reciept I have never experienced anything like this and until the stupid gift card is spent I have to interact with these awful excuses for cashiers and managers. I have to say this with mixed felling. They really are quite excellent. Overall I think they do an amazing job. I think the storefront, is ran very well. And everyone is always very nice and helpful. In the grooming area, my dog has always been treated been treated well. And groomed very well. I have taken him in many times and had his nails done, perfectly every time. My problem is is I have a very furry dog, it’s very hard to dry him. I’m retired, and don’t have a regular income. ( have paid @$115 for Defurmenatory) I can’t afford $60 to wash my dog. I asked them It was possible for me to wash my dog bring and him in.And charge me to dry my dog. I was told absolutely not. As other people are trying to reinvent themselves and stay afloat, the grooming (?)manager of Pet Sence doesn’t need my money. I’ve never once asked them to do anything that I wasn’t willing to pay for. We never even discussed money myself I was willing to pay for him to be dried. He’s put in an immersion dryer. Kattrina was very rude, short hair, big lady. I walked in excited to look around and get some Purina dental sticks and possibly some vitamins for my pets but as soon as I started calmly looking around Kattrina loudly asked what I was looking for. I said Purina and she told me where it was.

By this point I felt pressured to just grab what I need as I felt like me exploring around was a bother and not welcomed. I felt uncomfortable. Then I finally found the Purina dental sticks. I grabbed them and went to check out.

First she says “this isn’t Purina!” Which in itself made me feel like she was being accusatory. I then asked for 2 small treats for my dogs from the case in the cash register.

She rudely remarked “What? This disgusting things that there’s barely any there!” This shocked me and I asked if they’re bad but she didn’t answer that. I decide to purchase the treat anyways but then I was nervous to give them to my pets because the way she talked to me almost makes me think they’re selling old expired treats for dogs or something.
