China One — Restaurant in Crestview

Ordered take out from Chinese one on April 15,2025 at around 830pm. I ordered the chicken and broccoli with pork fried rice. Because it was a combo I got a small pork egg roll with it. I also ordered of crab ragoons with red sauce. The business was not busy at all and I got my order within 10 minutes all the food was piping hot. The crab ragoons were top notch, were not over cooked or oily, they had pretty good amount of cream cheese filling and was delicious. The rice chicken was also pretty good. Not the best Chinese I ever had but it’s pretty good. $21 for a meal drink, and the crab ragoons is kinda pricey for a single person. Honestly some of the worst food I've ever had it used to be real good but now it's disgusting. Not only was the sweet and sour chicken extremely crunchy but, so was the chicken with garlic sauce it was bland and chewy as well as had undercooked veggies. I would recommend not eating here and I'm never eating there again. We need some new Chinese places to take over because the ones that have been here for so long got too comfortable. They don't care about the food anymore because they made their 🤑 🤑 🤑. Honestly this place just needs to shut down disgusting. From the outside this looks like your run of the mill Chinese place. The smells from the kitchen tell a completely different story. Once you take a bite you'll know why this is my favourite Chinese restaurant in Crestview. Friday night you'll see the tables full of friends and family or weary husbands wait on their takeout.

I usually end up with a pepper steak, or the chicken lomein. Once I asked for "pork fried rice, and can you make it spicy?" and I accidentally ended up with a spicy rice that blew my mind. Totally different than the spicy thai fried rice.

The staff doesn't talk much but my orders are always correct and the food is always tasty. So in my book...
