Ashley Store — Local services in Crestview

Not quite sure what to make of this place yet. I like the fact that there was a greeting when I walked into the showroom. The associate was very welcoming and after the initial greeting she left me alone to shop around and even told me to feel free to get comfortable in the furniture as I would at home. I don't like someone breathing down my neck when I'm shopping, for sure! I didn't feel any pressure at all to buy something right away. She even told us to think about what we would like. There were a couple of other associate that spoke to us as well, again no pressure and freedom to shop. The questions that I had were answered right away and the associate seemed very knowledgeable in what they had to offer. The prices listed can be a little confusing, but she cleared that up for me as well. I know that you don't want to have to finance any of the furniture for the 6 year plan, it is way over priced to do that. Buy with cash and save with the sale prices. They do match the online prices, so definitely do your homework before agreeing to their showroom price. I'm not a fan of "engineered wood", when I buy furniture I expect it to last for a long time. You definitely have to flip the furniture around to see the material that it's made of! From what I see, not all of there furniture is what I would call quality made.. so watch what you buy. Kenya gave us a very warm and non salesy greeting. We felt very comfortable walking through without the pressure and usual smothering feeling that most furniture places give to their customers.

We were impressed by his mattress knowledge. It seems like there is a lot I didn’t know about mattresses and now I have the right one. It will be an Ashley adjustable type and we opted out of the massage feature. Then we bought a bed frame that he showed us on their website. We then bought a couch as well. We forgot to buy pillows but had looked at the memory foam cool touch type and will go back for those.

We stayed a while and wound up opening a credit card which which was approved in minutes for $7000.

The whole process was very refreshing. Delivery arrangement was simple. Prices were great. We wound up with a phenomenal mattress at what we feel is a great value. The differentiator was Kenya though. I don’t usually adopt well with sales type personalities. His demeanor was so unusually comforting for a person in that role that I didn’t feel like I was getting pushed around or talked at by a used car salesman.

Now for certain we will be going back for a kitchen/dining room table, and kids bedroom furniture.

In case my ex-wife and ex-kids read this, don’t worry, you will be getting your child support so you can go shopping with Kenya also....

Ashley’s I’m Crestview, Fl has some amazing furniture and choices, a great staff that answered any questions. I went there to buy some couches and Mr. Lee the assistant manager was there waiting at the door when we walked in, he provided us some of the best customer service we’ve received in a long time, truly went out of his way to make things happen for us, my mother just broke her back and we needed something she could sit comfortable in, and need it fast. Mr. Lee not only went out of his way and found the exact model that we were trying to described that we liked, but was also able to get it to us faster then normal, and was able to locate the exact color we needed. Highly recommend buying your furniture from Ashley’s in Crestview, FL. If your not too sure on what you want or have any questions I would go to Mr. Lee, he’s a great man and makes the purchase feel comfortable for you, and exactly what you want.
