I thought a long time about making this review, especially since it's a small business, but I can't get over how we were treated.
My boyfriend ordered us two Sukinam noodle soups with ONE extra order of glass noddle and bean sprout to be put on the side. We were charged for two extra orders of noddle and bean sprout and they were cooked into the food, so it absorbed all the broth, became bland and soggy. We rarely ever return food or ask for it to be remade but this was a $55 meal that I didn't care to eat. Keep in mind its a $3 up charge per order of bean sprout and $4 per order of noodle.
My BF calls in and asks if there's any way to make this right, and explained the situation of how our order was placed wrongly. Never once did we ask for a refund but was offered one by the front desk. He was instructed that he would have to drive again back in town to be able to charge the refund. He apologized at least 4 or 5 different times about the situation, even though it wasn't our mistake, but we both felt guilty getting refund from a small business. ( I listened to the entire phone call with him)
He drives back to the restruant for the second time that night and as he's trying to process the refund, a man who I can only assume was the manager, storms out from the kitchen and tells him that he needed to bring the food back. Again, we never "return food" so we're not used to the process and was not once informed over the phone to bring it back, as we had already tossed it in the trash. As my boyfriend was trying to explain that he was not instructed over the phone to bring back the food, he was interrupted by this manager who proceeded to raise his voice at him and demanded "No you will let me speak" which he continued to yell and lecture my BF about why he needed to bring the food back. Keep in mind my BF never once was rude or demanded anything from them to warrant such an aggressive response.
My BF came back home frustrated over the whole ordeal, explaining the entire situation as he fished the food from the trash. I went with my BF to return to the restaurant, for a third time that night. My BF walked into the store a little before me and I could see through the window the manager again storm up to the kitchen window. As soon as I walked in behind my BF, I saw the managers demeanor change. I proceed to ask who yelled at my bf and ended up confronting the manager on how yelling at him over miscommunication, that was soley their mistake, was inexcusable. To which the manager stated he didn't want to make this a big ordeal, would refund us and threatened to call the cops. Yet he was the one that blew up at my BF and was nasty to him when he was at the restaurant alone, but as soon as I joined my BF, the manager acted as if we attacked him.
The food was disgusting, expensive and even after clarifying our order 3 times it was still made incorrectly. The customer service with the front desk was great, but management was appalling to say the least. We will not be returning and I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone else.
There's plenty of other authentic food in the area I highly recommend Lao-Thai express for good Thai and Arirang for good koren food, both are located on...
Read moreWas a great experience overall. Me and my husband were wanting some Thai food, fried rice specifically for him and bubble tea was my craving. We haven't been to this one yet and wanted to give it a try. Looking on Google it had a really nice interior from the pics I seen and a good sounding menu with high google reviews. We got in our to go pick up order the Thai fried rice, Hong Kong noodle, crying tiger, and sweet chili fish with 2 extra sides if spring rolls with one green tea boba drink. The food was all pretty tasty. I really liked the Hong Kong noodles. My husband said the meat for his fish was a little dry but was still tasty. My only complaint would be that the steak was rare for my crying tiger meal and thw shrimp in my noodles had tails still so I had to pick them off before eating. That's not an issue too much cause the flavor was really great. I'd just suggest if you are a person who likes meat well done ask for it that way when you order to avoid getting rare. It was an easy fix though, just pan fried it a little more at home and it was perfect. The green tea was unsweetened as well. Not an issue though cause I drink green tea sweet and unsweetened both. No problems, just mentioning for the people who like their green tea sweet so they can request it like that when they order. The waitress was nice and friendly also. Double checked to make sure all items were there and even helpede take the food to my truck cause I had my baby in my arms and hands full. Really polite and deserves a shout out. I'm sorry I didn't get the name or ID mention it. So nice she deserves a promotion and pay raise. The whole experience was overall great and ide give a 5 for the taste, quantity, quality, and...
Read moreThey just opened on November 6th. I dont want to slam the other Thai eateries in Crestview. But Absolute Thai Noodles is beyond my expectations. Their Beef Noodle Soup is AMBROSIA TO THE SENSES. It has layers of flavor. I always get extra napkins because I love mine served Thai SPICY HOT. The beef is marinated for hours. There are pieces of beef ball throughout too!!! Its even better is you let it marinate and take it home. They truly care about their food. The Seafood Tom Yum Ramen is another favorite. There's a huge Fillet of white fish, shrimp, classic, Krab, mussels, and clams. It has a robust flavor. You can't go wrong here. Yes, they just opened, and are trying their best. You will have to wait awhile, unless you order ahead for Pick Up. We went opening day. The Hospital is close by. We arrived at 11:00, when they OPEN. The hospital staff ordered almost a dozen meals. If you LOVE Great Food, give these guys a chance. You WON'T BE...
