Read moreI was so excited to take my kids to Pole Position Raceway this morning. Upon A rival we were greeted by a lovely young lady name Marissa that check us in. Marissa told us our drive time and we proceed to The STEM program that was going on that day as well. Apparently, There is no way in the back that you can hear your name being called while their 30 people in a room doing games and learning about STEM. We Proceed to the front check in10mins before the Schedule time. I get up there with my children and I see their names on a board I spoke with Jordan which was very abrupt and rude to me when I was explaining to her that my kid's names are on the board and there loading the go-kart. Jordan road her eyes and she said something to a guy with a blue bandana on his head that was wearing glasses. I'm standing there with another lady that got there at the same time that I did. I ask him the guy with the bandana on his head we cannot hear in that back area he looked at me like it's not his problem and I asked him well can the kids do the go-kart still? He said meanly, well I'll try to squeeze them in whenever I get a free spot. Unacceptable Behavior for an employee. He continue to be rude towards me so I took my 3 kids and the lady that was next to me she had enough as well. She went to the counter alongside myself and she asked for a refund. When I asked for my $30 refund Jordan got an attitude again with me. She Blames Marissa for not explaining in detail The rules for the go-kart time. Jordan tells me that things are chaotic there because her employee was 45 minutes late and the guy with the blue bandana and glasses was having a rough day! Please do not take your children there if you want your sanity! That amount of rudeness that they displayed is very concerning. That I had to write a review! Those two employees were displaying unwanted behavior in front of paying customers and children. Jordan the so Call Manager and the employee with the Bandana on his head ruined a perfectly good day...
Read moreGood track and carts BUT it’s $26 for each race unless you buy a bunch (we spent over $300) and on the very first race they be rated my girlfriend so bad for hitting the wall. They literally stopped Everyone and two guys walked out There stood over her and berated her for hitting the wall on track she’d never been on with carts that go 45 mph. Yes that literally happened. She was so put off by it that she refused to race anymore, even after spending all that money. Update to response I don’t disagree with most of what you say. The problem is how you handle it most the people that come to this track for the first time have never handled a car like this or attract with this many hairpin curves. I see people that have been on the track over 20 times still hitting the wall, nobody is ignoring the directions. In fact, she made sure I paid very close attention to it like she was my mother. She was the slowest driver out there and she was being as cautious as she could. I saw how you were talking to her with two people standing over her and it was a bit over-the-top. You guys act as if people are INTENTIONALLY trying to ram the other cars and the wall and disregarding all the rules. That’s not what’s . You made a beginner going slower than everyone else so uncomfortable that She didn’t want to get on the track again even after spending $300. I think that’s all people need to hear. Nobody was ignoring the directions, people do the best they can. It’s fast carts and an incredibly challenging track that most people have never experienced. We get the importance of it, but you guys do seem a bit over-the-top in my opinion and that’s my review. Now 2 stars. *She already committed to the second race and felt horrible and went much slower than everyone. She was too concerned about being yelled at over it. I had to race without her and yeah $300 and she didn’t want race anymore that says enough right there. Just letting people know what to expect and maybe not...
