I brought my car in to have the headliner replaced. They did a great job with matching the color and it seems well attached. But when I came to pick up my car, the rear view mirror had come off its stem and the windshield was cracked right behind it.

At first he told me that the "prior owner had superglued it together," except I'm the first owner and never had problems with the rear view mirror, never used superglue on the mirror. That also doesn't explain the cracked windshield.

Then I was told that the mirror just fell off while they were working. Again, no explanation for the cracked windshield. If this was true, then why wouldn't it have fallen off when I drove down bumpy National Ave daily for work? And, when I had last adjusted the mirror, it hadn't been loose at all. Seems very coincidental.

Looking at the mirror around the area where it attaches to the stem, the ball opening, it's clear that the plastic has been melted.

What seems like a more likely explanation is that when they were installing the headliner, their heat gun melted the plastic on the mirror and it fell. They tried to put it back on and broke the windshield.

Or, maybe they took the mirror off the stem to get more room to work, then tried to heat the plastic enough to soften it and slip it back on, but overdid the heat, melted the mirror excessively, and pushed too hard on the windshield.

I picked this place because of all the five star reviews and the owner seemed like a good guy, but I ended up needing to pay for more repairs. Think about what happened to me, what seems most likely based upon the evidence, and decide if you want to take your work here or check...

My car had over 10 cuts, each cut in the seats was about 2-4 inches, I went to bmw and they wanted almost as much as the price of the car, I found mr khone and stopped by him, he explained everything thoroughly and took his time and did An amazing job on restoring the car to a condition better than brand new, the leather smells so good, he uses bmw leather, in his catalog there’s also Volkswagen and Porsche and Mercedes leather, the stitching looks very well done, sitting on the seats feels way better than before. The car took about 5 days to be done and was worth it. I recommend Mr khone, he is experienced and knows the job very well, my 7 series was full of electricity and that was not a problem for mr khone. I cannot thank you...

Khone is a great guy, super friendly, his employees are very friendly as well. They all do great work here. I had to get my sun deck fixed on my boat. He was trying to repair it first, but once he opened up the vynle he found out the wood was completely rotten. So he called to let me know we agreed on a price and he fixed in a timely manner.
