School District of Cudahy — Local services in Cudahy

I have nothing but positive things to say about Cudahy School District. I attended the district from K-12 and now both of my children attend CSD. Both of my children had great success at J.E. Jones Elementary. The teachers and staff at Jones were all exceptional.

They now attend Cudahy Middle School. We have had no problems with curriculum or instructors. The teachers have all been very personable and easy to communicate with. Both of my children have so far enjoyed their middle school experience. The school and staff are very receptive and open to ideas and suggestions.

The District has been a leader in returning to in person education during the pandemic. They had a solid and very successful plan to make returning to school possible while being safe. They also have the virtual school option for those not returning to in person instruction. The district's staff under Superintendent Owen-Moore has done a superb job in keeping the kids safe and getting them back in the classroom!

I have been very pleased with the education my son and three step-children have received in Cudahy schools. Each child's individual needs are taken into consideration. Special help is given during Flex periods when needed. My son has benefited from the gifted/talented program and has been taking advanced classes since elementary school. I have met many phenomenal teachers in the district, some of whom had a very special impact on my son's life. I believe the Cudahy Schools are a hidden gem. We have a new superintendent who carefully considers input from parents and teachers and works really hard to satisfy both groups to have a positive influence on our students. With Covid, families had a choice between virtual & in-person learning this past fall. Many students have been in-person at least part-time since September and to my knowledge, there has not been a singe case of in-school...
