I think a lot of people don't realize the difficulties that pharmacies face, and instead do what's easy like complain from an uninformed position. I'm not going to break it down but most of the issues that people run into aren't because of mistakes or problems with the pharmacy: it's problems with insurance and more specifically, the customers having zero clue about what their insurance covers or doesn't. Granted, that's difficult for many because it requires reading and patience, something which so many in our society lack as basic skills. I had one mildly negative incident here (out of dozens) that was almost certainly a misunderstanding, and I swept it under the rug because every single other time the customer service has been excellent, fast, and thoughtful. Just one of many examples, I went there one day to get an economy-sized bottle (200 tablets) of an otc medicine that I've been taking regularly for years (and it's relatively expensive, hence the usefulness of buying in bulk), but all they had at that moment were the smaller sized bottles. I asked an employee who was stocking the aisle if they might have some in back. He said their delivery was coming in later that day, and asked if the price was the reason I bought in large quantities. He happened to be a manager, so he took two bottles that were 100 tablets each, walked me to the counter, and told the cashier to charge me the cost of the bottle of 200. It saved me like $7.
