Showcase Dance Studio — Attraction in Cudahy

Our family has been part of the Showcase Dance Studio community since 2009, and it has been an incredible journey of growth, development, and joy for both of our daughters. Starting at the age of five, they attended jazz, tap, and ballet classes, eventually becoming proud members of the production team. The studio has been a cornerstone of their lives and continues to hold a special place in our hearts.

As an alumna, my older daughter loves giving back by volunteering at the studio during her college breaks. My younger daughter, now a senior member of the studio, thrives on representing Showcase at events and competitions. Their time at Showcase has not only shaped their skills as dancers but has also profoundly contributed to their self-confidence, coordination, and ability to overcome challenges.

Miss Allison and the entire staff have created an environment that is welcoming, knowledgeable, and supportive of all students. The classes strike the perfect balance between being challenging and fun, which keeps students motivated and engaged.

One of the things I value most about Showcase is its affordability, which has made it possible for both of my daughters to continue pursuing their passion for dance while also balancing other activities they enjoy. Additionally, the friendships they have formed and the sense of community we’ve experienced as a family are priceless.

The absolute worst customer service and return on investment. Spend thousands of dollars a year for participation trophies and drama. The worst part is the kids don’t have any fun. Then when the owner is asked for breakdowns of the bill, she ignores you and pretends you don’t matter. All this studio is interested in is money. Not making difference for the dancers.

Since posting this I do wish that I could place negative stars. After paying into my daughters dance at this place for over 7 years I was ignored when bills were requested and I was intentionally left out of a "meeting" the owner held with my daughter when she decided she no longer wanted to be in one of her many dance disciplines. I have been excluded from all information related to my daughters dance and when I asked jackrabbit for assistance to have my own account the wonderful customer service people there replied that the studio owner could contact them so that they could come up with a solution. The studio owner refused to assist me, put personal relationships before the business, and sent me an e-mail telling me that I am not a customer and threatened legal action for making my concerns known. Is it common practice to "provide itemized invoices" to non-customers? My reviews are accurate representations of my dealings with this horrible business. All of my requests were legal and reasonable. I simply asked to be allowed access to jackrabbit. We are in our 17th consecutive year of having 3 kids dancing with Showcase. My two daughters and a son have loved every bit of their time here. Every one of the staff members go above and beyond for their dancers and families. They are kind and friendly, understanding, and flexible and the dancers look forward to going to class. All of my kids have formed great friendships and strong bonds with their dance teachers. There is a huge variety of different classes to choose from and the scheduling for classes is worked out so dancers can take multiple classes if they choose.
