Grew up in this town been going to this post office for 20+ years… service really went down from 4/5 stars to 1/2 This is the story of my most recent trip here that boiled my blood and ruined my entire day. Also causing me to be late for work. The old white guy at the counter was the only one who didn’t have a name tag…. So there’s no accountability to claim…. When I finished waiting in line and walked to the counter with a P.O. Box overflow tag, the clerk said you went out of town and didn’t feel like telling anyone huh…. I said I’m helping my father get mail from his P.O. Box without letting me finish he then says in a condescending tone well you’re not going to get the mail if it’s not your mailbox. I then said I’ve been added onto the account, says oh we’ll see about that. I hear him in the back saying well his last name matches but not the first I can’t give him the mail…. I was told to leave without getting the P.O. Box mail…. I sat in my car calling my father who is out of the country and was debating to drive back home since work was starting soon… back to Sacramento without completing my quest…. I decided to go back in line one last time, spoke to the same guy again and asked well what’s the process to be added on the mailbox account? He said: The account holder has to come in person and authorize the add… Well, We did that before 3years ago, clerk then said okay let me go back there and check again….. For context I’ve been helping gather my parents mail for the past two years but I live in Sacramento now…the clerk just says well you shouldn’t have been given the mail in these last couple of years… So you can understand my frustration… after driving 2 hours… and get this treatment… They finally found my info scribbled on a piece of paper… gave me the mailbox contents… I dumped it in my car and drove to work late and mood ruined. Didn’t have time to sort or use their recycle bins… The clerk he did say: sorry you had to go through that. Well… Sorry i feel inclined to leave a honest review while looking at this pile of bad experience during my lunch break.

Stay away from this place. Especially from employees on this picture. She is cluless.and extremely rude. She will not move an inch to help you. When i asked for supervisor, she asked me to go to the corner window and wait. After 10 min or so when i went back to ask her when is the supervisor coming this same clerk said she is not working today. Then why in the would you have me wait for her??!! Why would you not come back to tell me that but instead she keeps watchingme wait?!! I asked her 3 times what is the name of the supervisor her reply was "supervisor" all three times, i also asked her for her name her reply was "clerk" Who trains, runs and audits this facility??? Why are there no names on the window for each employee. This place is a scam! Both of my international packages were lost. Horrible experience. Stay away and don't spend money here.

If you planning on renewing your passport, please do it somewhere else, this african-American lady shouldn't be working here at all, I don't understand why USPS hires such an disrespectful, incompetent and unprofessional person to work here! She should not be working here at all, i should of have read the reviews before scheduling a passport renewal in here! Im never coming back to this place! Our experience was terrible and i feel so annoying from the beginning to the moment we completed the process. Zero on customer service!!!

I really don't want to be a bother but I think it should be noted that every time I come here I'm regarded with some degree of disrespect. I'm not sure why that is; maybe no one is getting paid enough or maybe it's just been hard to work in this industry throughout the pandemic. While I sympathize in that respect, there is no reason in my mind why customers who regularly use the services offered here should be treated with such disregard. My experience today rubbed me the wrong way in particular. I'm used to using the kiosk in front that prints properly formatted labels for my packages. I am on the autism spectrum so I have a certain difficulty for processing information. I had some issues with the address given to me so I brought it up to the desk to ask for help. While it's no ones fault for not being able to notice I was struggling at face value, I was mocked for not understanding the way in which I was directed to label my package by hand. The person who was helping me appeared angry that I did not understand, and I couldn't figure out what it was I did or said wrong. He and the gentleman next to him had a joking exchange about my mistake that was frankly humiliating. I know I know, "gen z looking person doesn't know how to mail a package" or whatever but I found this to be inconsiderate. If this was not a consistent issue with this location (again this is not the first time I've been regarded poorly here for asking for assistance) I wouldn't have bothered to say anything. I have also observed that in general, customers here are often disrespected and regarded poorly.I have no such issues at the other post offices I have used in the past who had no problem at all answering questions and walking me through what I need to do even if it might have seemed a bit obvious to them. I would just suggest that maybe the folks working here, who are probably fine people otherwise, consider that they are there to help people send and recieve their mail, and that this might entail helping people who may not know what they're doing or are as familiar with the process. Treating people poorly who are confused or ask questions that can be answered simply seems a bit counter intuitive. The services themselves are sufficient enough, I just didn't appreciate the disrespect and I'll probably not come back to this location again. I hope I'm not dismissed as merely being "offended," again I can understand why this might be a stressful job, and I do apologize for the somewhat lengthy review. I do hope that this will not be an issue for others in the future. Thank you...

This place is bad, like really terrible. Employees are actively not good at their job. I was expecting a package 8/16. The carrier out on delivery decided they couldn’t read the address and shipped it back. The infamous words no one ever wants to see on their tracking: ‘return to sender.’ Last scanned location: Cupertino, ca.

Went to the post office Monday morning 8/18 to see if I could just collect the package myself. Because we all know the post isn’t open on Sunday so chances are it’s still there right? Wrong. Clerk was dismissive and unkind. “It was retuned to sender!” “Yes, I understand that but why?” I ask. “Address was missing apt number.” Okay, I find that hard to believe as it was a printed label but sure. I ask, “do you have a photo?” “No!”, okay so no proof? “Do you know where it is currently located?” “It is being returned!” Clerk says. Right I understand that, but you have to have some way of Telling me where it is exactly as it makes its return trip, right? “No! It is being returned!” He says. facepalm

They tell me I have to wait for it to travel all the way back across the country, and have the sender ship it again. Ridiculous.

Hey USPS/ Cupertino, why don’t you hold the package for 24hrs and mark it pickup at post office before sending it across the country? Why isn’t there any way for me to see its current location and progress as it gets sent back? Why is your Cupertino location so bad at answering a simple question, Where. Is. My. Package!?

Something’s fishy. The fact that you can’t tell me where it is after being RTS’d is extremely strange. If the package doesn’t show up back to the sender by the end of the week I’m contacting the postmaster general for mail theft...
