I was having some low back pain and saw this place when I was at the CVS. On a whim I decided to see if they could help my back. I am very glad I took a chance.
I was a walk in but it was apparently slow so they got me right in mid-afternoon on a Friday. Angela met me at the front and asked what type of massage and for how long. I said my low back was bothering me and a one hour massage. It was $65 for an hour. I paid Angela and she led me to a room in the front and told me to lie on my front and left me with a towel. Location was tidy and clean.
Angela came back shortly with my change and started a light shoulder and back rub to warm up my muscles through the towel. She'd then moved the towel and used some warm oil and got in with her elbows. It was wonderful. She has a real feel for where my issues are and gifted hands to work on these areas.
She basically loosened me up from heel to neck and then put some hot stones on and left to answer the door. She came back and used the stones to smooth me over. I was very relaxed and my back spasms were gone.
She had me turn over under the towel and massaged my chest and the front of my legs with the oil and then the stones. I was basically jelly. I received a full hour plus of treatment. Not sure what the problem was in the other review? Being shorted on time was certainly not my experience.
Angela recommended next time I try suction cup therapy and that it was only $15 additional. I will be back to try this out.
I will say this was a top quality massage, better than most I have had at expensive resorts.
Angela is a Chinese lady but her English is very good and her skills are great. She said she trained...
Read moreThis was one of the worst massage experiences I've ever had, beyond the pale in a few different ways. Besides for the fact that the interior of the spa was dark and not super clean looking, the massage itself was very average. The crazy part of this experience was that the massage therapist walked out of the room in the middle of the massage about FIVE times to answer the phone and see who was at the door. It was wildly unprofessional, rude, and made it really hard to enjoy the massage. In addition, the therapist didn't close the door all the way which made me feel uncomfortable as I didn't know who might be walking by. The worst part was that she tried to get me to write a five star review on my way out, which not only wasn't going to happen, but the pressure she put on me to provide a review was really not right. Save yourself the time and money and go...
Read moreI booked a session at Lucky Massage through ClassPass, and I’m so glad I did. The massage far exceeded my expectations. Lili was my massage therapist and she did a phenomenal job!
I’ve had massages all over the world from some of the finest luxury resorts to the crowded streets in Thailand, and I can say the massage I received at Lucky Massage ranks among one of the BEST I’ve ever received.
Lili is a highly skilled masseuse and made me feel so invigorated and renewed after the session.
The decor is very plain and low key- this is perfectly fine with me and all I care about is getting an effective massage. Lucky Massage definitely delivers in this realm and I will certainly be back. This place is THE...
