Bear Creek Family Dentistry — Local services in Dallas

The only reason I came to this location is because the Mesquite location does not have an orthodontist there. First impressions are everything to me when it comes to customer service. The first appointment we had here was at 2:30. We weren't seen until past 3:00. No one told us that they were running behind schedule, not one word. Yesterday I had to take my daughter in for braces. We had to have our insurance verified again before she could have the work done. We were just there 2 weeks ago. Why didn't they verify the insurance the day before or prior to the appointment? Then to top it off at the last appointment we were told about our payment options. We could pay cash with no interest or pay with Care Credit 24 months with no interest. Well yesterday they told me I could pay with Care Credit and do 18 months with no interest or they could do 24 months with interest, that the 24 months no interest offer was no longer available. You would think if something like that changed we would have received a call and had someone tell us before having to take time off work and taking my kid out of school. They seem to have a lot of office staff that would be able to make one simple call to go over any changes made. The only reason why I let them proceed with braces for my daughter is because they went through with the payment plan they told us at our first visit. I like the Mesquite office better. The office manager there keeps you up to date with everything that is going on and takes the time to personally apologize if they are running behind schedule. This location could learn a lot from the Mesquite location.

Have been coming here for years at all locations with my 3 children, myself and husband. They are always going through new staff that get on the job training, which doesn't surprise me as to what happened yesterday. My husband calls me to advise they are now wanting $2500 due to one of their employees improperly informing me of the insurance process but now a year later I'm getting "educated". if not paid will take braces out of my daughters mouth, will not give her retainer and in short SOL. Have been making $100 payments without fail every month, took out care credit $1000 which is now paid off but his response to me was to increase my limit to pay it. why would I do that after a bait n switch? He then put a lady on phone where they both wanted to manipulate me. very disappointed in this company as a whole bing I've been loyal for 7yrs with all my kids and self for this to happen and blame it on a poorly trained employee ... take some accountability for your practices. Careful my people taking your kids here especially with a situation like this I'm scared to let them take my kids to the exam area since they don't allow the parents back there. I assumed they were wanting to help the community since they are located next to predominantly Hispanic grocery stores... but after going through this I believe it's to take advantage of those who speak very little english. My husband does not speak good English and they tried to play this mind game to have him sign and accept this newly accrued amount. Shame on you Bear...

I will forever take my family to Bear Creek! After a year and a half with my other pediatric dentist charging me insane amounts of money I’m so happy a family friend told me about Bear Creek. Dr Ludlow was able to do my toddlers teeth in half the time our other dentist told us it would take and at a fraction of the cost. I’m talking huge savings! $3000 quote from other dentist and only $680 at Bear Creek for a better treatment plan. My toddler needed 6 crowns and Dr Ludlow was amazing. The atmosphere is very kid friendly with a play place, theater room and 6 individual games to keep the kids occupied on top of the balloons and picture pin we received! The manager came out every 5-10 minutes giving me updates on my daughter and how things were going. My husband and I have been putting off our own dental work bc of cost and now that we have found this amazing practice I’ll never go anywhere else! The whole staff at Bear Creek is nothing short of amazing! I HIGHLY recommend you go for yourself and your children. Dr Ludlow will be taking care of my children’s dental needs as long as he is working. I’m so beyond happy with the work that was done and my baby has the most beautiful teeth now. And she’s not afraid of the dentist!!!! Do yourself a favor and...
