I love this place. They offer classes every day of the week and there are many times to choose from - from o'dark early to late evening. You simply drop in to whichever class suits your schedule that day. Or attend more than one a day if you're feeling ambitious. It's always easier for me to stay home and sit on the couch than work out but the music and friendly people keep me motivated. Plus I like how I find myself so "in the moment" during class - listening to the cues and concentrating on the movements - that for an hour I forget any worries or stress. Once the hour is over, my mind feels refreshed and my worries don't seem so immediate. The first couple classes might seem complicated because every move is new. But it quickly gets easier and more effortless. There are all shapes, sizes, ages, genders and fitness levels here. People are welcoming and you won't feel awkward. Weights and mats are supplied. All you need are comfortable workout...
Read moreJazzercise is the best way to exercise that I have found. It’s fun and addicting, but truly gives you a challenging total body workout for every level of fitness. I started Jazzercize a few years before the birth of my daughter and loved it, but stopped coming after she was born as I was adjusting to life with a baby. About a year after she was born I was so anxious to get back to a workout routine and came back to Jazzercise. My body had changed quite a bit after having a baby but once I started Jazzercise again I quickly got back to my pre-baby body and I can honestly say that I’m stronger than ever and in the best shape of my life! The instructors at this facility are fantastic and I love that there are women of all ages and fitness levels represented. There are also tons of classes at this location so it’s easy to find a class that works for your schedule. Oh, and there is free childcare at select classes if you have...
Read moreI started going to Jazzercise in North Dallas in December 2015. I was recovering from a hip surgery and looking for a way to begin exercising again (previously I ran, lifted weights, and played tennis) while also no re-injuring my hip. Jazzercise was the perfect way. I began taking Kerry's classes and found that she always gave modifications that made it possible for me to take class at the start. From there, I branched out to other instructors - each has her own style. Some more fun, some more challenging - but every class is a great workout set to fun, current music. The routines are the same from teacher to teacher (choreographed by Jazzercise), so regardless of instructor every class if a fun, safe, workout. Not to mention, I’ve absolutely noticed changes in both my strength and...
