Santa Rosa Restaurante — Restaurant in Dallas

Bad experience with this place. The place was empty a table of 2 and US a table of 5. We got sat down and all the menus the prices of each plate were scratched off with a sharpie so we order without knowing the price, we order 2 mar y tierra, 2 caldo de res and 1 caldo de pollo. The server only showed up to out table 3 times, on where the bowl where my rice was brought it was dirty and still had black beans from previous use I'm assuming, I asked out server to replace my rice and you guys wont believe what my eyes saw, she dumped the rice where the other rice was and got a "clean bowl" and served the same was that was already contaminated and touched at my table. We finish eating and head out to pay, to our surprise our tab was $143 we were being charged for a mariscada (seafood soup) that we didn't order (we only had agua fresca ) On top of that 18 dollars of tips were added to out tap. We understand some restaurants get gratuity but to my knowledge it has to be on parties of 6 or 8. We had left 25 dollar tip that we picked up after realizing the tip was charge, (server your loss on $25) I'm not doing this to hurt the business but for the owners to be aware and know that this is hurting your business.

Mala experiencia con este lugar. El lugar estaba vacío con una mesa de 2 y una de 5 que era la nuestra, nos sentamos y para empezar todos los precios de los menús estaban Rayados con marcador negro, así que ordenamos sin saber el precio. La orden fue 2 mar y tierra, 2 caldo de rez, y un caldo de pollo. La mesera solo llegó a nuestra mesa 3 veses. El traste en el que mi arros fue traído estaba sucio de frijoles negros del uso anterior. Le pedí a la mesera que si me traía arroz nuevo y para sorpresa mía y de mis amigos la mesera vació el arroz que estaba en la mesa en el contenedor de arroz que tenían en la cosina, y de ahí mismo me trajo "arroz nuevo" terminamos de cenar y fuimos a pagar, para nuestra sorpresa el cheque era de $143 dólares (sin consumo de alcohol) y se nos estaba cobrando una mariscada que no pedimos. Aparte se nos cobró $18 de propina en el mismo ticket. Se entiende que la mayoría de restaurantes cobra gratitud pero solo en mesas de 6 o más. Aviamos dejado $25 dólares de propina la cual recojimos al saber que se nos avia contado propina mandataria. (Tu pérdida mesera). Esto no lo hago para dañar al negocio, lo hago para que el o los dueños se den cuenta que ustedes mismos están...

Liked it, but I'm NEVER GOING BACK THERE due to the initial bad experience I had.

I waited for my father in law in front of the parking lot that has Santa Rosa written on it in front of the door of the restaurant and while I waited, I needed to use the restroom, so I went inside Santa Rosa to use it, while my wife and son stayed in the car to wait for grandpa. When I went in I ask the female waitress where the restrooms were and she kicked me out telling me that THEY DIDN'T HAVE RESTROOMS. Shame on the restaurant for having impolite rule/policy. Initially, I should just have walked to the 7 eleven across and they would have never denied me the restrooms (Good job 7 eleven, your the best). Once I went inside the restaurant with my family, the waitress didn't even look at me nor apologies.

Me gustó, pero NUNCA VOLVERE allí debido a la mala experiencia que tuve.

Esperé a mi suegro en frente del estacionamiento que tiene Santa Rosa escrito, enfrente de la puerta del restaurante, y mientras esperaba, tenía que ir al baño, así que me fui dentro del restaurante Santa Rosa a usarlo, mientras mi esposa y mi hijo esperaban en el coche al abuelo. Cuando entré, le pregunte a la camarera femenina donde los baños estaban y me dijo que no tenían baños. Vergüenza en el restaurante por tener la regla/Política de mala educación. Yo, inicialmente, sólo debería haber caminado al 7 eleven y ellos nunca me hubieran negado el baño (Buen trabajo 7 Eleven, eres el mejor). My mother went to eat today Sunday, May 09, 2021 with my sister for Mother's Day, but the service was terrible, the waitstaff was rude, never bring what my mother or sister asked for to the table. They even ignored my sister children about their food. I will NOT recommend this terrible place to eat for a special date like today, Mother's Day. Go somewhere else and NOT here. Terrible customer service and poor terrible management team and of course all the waitresses. 1 star only for their BAD service to...
