• Read This Review * Quite Good - Go!! The staff at Walnut Hill & Marsh location is perfect! Happy greeting as you walk into a clean restaurant, well designed and upbeat. I sat at the bar and received superior service and friendliness from Chasity & Jasmine. (I recommend sitting at the bar if you want a more fun experience.)

Staff & Margarita: Chasity was my primary server / bartender and demonstrated a genuine care that my food was right and my strawberry margarita was to my standards. (She asked if I wanted it modified to be better… which is almost unheard of. GREAT SERVICE! Impressive!) It had a nice balance of strawberry and lime flavors… not 100% strawberry. Try one.

Although working the bar for the whole restaurant, I never felt rushed and she didn’t act rushed when we spoke. She made me feel like I was the only one there, calm, and focused on me - and I watched her do the same with 6-7 others at the bar. Very smooth and skilled to pull that off.

And a big reach out to Jasmine. They are a great duo switching back and forth on tasks to keep everything flowing smoothly. When one was with a customer, the other is quickly doing non-customer facing tasks. I feel this is a key to their success when talking to customers.

(Owners: - These girls need a raise! You have no idea how many places might steal them away!… but they love being at Jake’s so don’t worry. Just show your appreciation financially.)

Surprisingly, the manager (Israel) stopped by to see if my food was good and if I was having a good time. (That never happens in this kind of place. Obviously, they love and care deeply about 100% happy customers!) Staff Score: 10 of 10 Margarita Score: 8.7 of 10

Burger: Actually bigger than I expected in all aspects. I smiled when I cut it in half and looked in side - a work of art! Meat was nicely cooked, not greasy - but still moist. Seemed to be cooked on a flat grill, nice flavor, but could use a bit of seasoning to make it better. Bacon was generous and nicely cooked. Cheddar cheese and extra lettuce were spot on. Score: 8.5 of 10

Seasoned Fries: Nicely cooked, gentle crunch and not over seasoned. You have a nice balance of potato and seasoning. I might see if they can do extra crispy next time. Score: 8.5 of 10

Beer Batter Onion Rings: Hand battered in house. Surprisingly one of the best beer battered onion rings I’ve ever had. A beautiful combination of soft crunch and delicacy melt in your mouth yum-yum. Again, for me I’ll ask for extra crispy to see how that goes next time. Score: 9.2 of 10

Atmosphere: Very clean. A combination of sports bar (but not) meets upscale hole in the wall burger joint. I really like it. Score: 10 of 10

Overall Score: Easy 9 of 10. I’ll be back!

I work for Southwest Airlines and needed to reserve a location for a team event. From the moment I called, the service exceeded all expectations. I initially spoke with Cesar, who quickly connected me with his manager, Israel, to discuss our large party and special requests. Israel returned my call within 10 minutes and immediately got the ball rolling to make our event happen.

From securing the reservation to the moment we arrived, Cesar, Sam, and Rachel ensured every detail was handled with care and efficiency. They were kind, attentive, and incredibly responsive to all our needs.

Originally, I booked the space for 4:00 pm but later asked if we could begin at 3:00 pm. Israel was transparent and let me know the bartender wouldn’t arrive until 3:30 pm, but we were welcome to order from the main bar in the meantime. To our pleasant surprise, his team arrived earlier than expected and began servicing our group before 3:30 PM.

I truly could not have asked for better service. A huge thank you to Israel and his entire team for making the Southwest Airlines Pricing Team feel welcomed and well taken care of. Your teamwork and hospitality allowed us to celebrate our hardworking staff in the best way possible. Absolutely...

I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Jake’s recently, and I have to say, the experience was nothing short of amazing. That’s saying a lot especially hearing so many horrible things about the Addison location. A huge shoutout to Chasity, who completely stole the show with her incredible hospitality and serving skills. She has a way of making every guest feel welcomed and cared for, handling everything with such grace and efficiency. You can tell she truly cares about the customer experience, and her professionalism is unmatched.

While Chasity was the highlight of my visit, I also want to commend the entire morning and night crew. Every team member I interacted with was friendly, hardworking, and dedicated to making the environment enjoyable for all. It’s clear that the staff at Jake’s are not just there to do a job—they genuinely take pride in what they do, and it shows in every detail.
