JoJo's Fresh Market — Local services in Dallas

We finally visited JoJo's after passing it several times. Yeah, it's small, but they had some really fresh and good looking produce. We purchased an assortment of fruit and vegetables to build a salad and enjoyed it when we got home. The employees were super nice and gave us good suggestions and explained that most items came from local growers. The meat and eggs they had were also local. Prices were high on the meats, but you knew it was going to be better than store bought. We'll try some bacon and sausage next time. Worth a stop to see...

Despite being little, this market has tons of unique and fresh items! I got lots of fresh figs while they were still in season and they were AMAZING, you just can't find fresh figs anywhere else. They also have a cool selection of exotic sweet potatoes, such ones from Hawaii. Baked goods and candles are offered from local artisans. I love the jumbo cookies from one love cafe! Me and the family loved our first trip here .. JoJo is such a sweetheart and you can tell she takes pride in her products being fresh and affordable .. I personally love the variety of sweet potatoes she has (Hawaiian & Japanese) .. A nice variety of dried peppers for my stir fry’s , and her muscadine grapes are soooooo good .. This is a awesome farmers market and we will be regulars from now on .. Its always a good day when you can support your local farmers market and enjoy some...
