My second favorite store. It is fantastic but... not perfect.
Produce is hit or miss here. In my experience, the apples, potatoes, avocados, and basically all the fruits and veggies in the produce display bins are either perfectly ripe, or overripe. The bananas are either underripe or ripe, and the berries in plastic boxes are usually half ripe, half over ripe or moldy. The bagged veggies and the stuff like lettuce and peppers in the chilled mist-spraying section are always fine.
There is no shortage of bread here, I'll tell you that. Enter on the left side, walk forward approximately 20 feet and rotate about 110 degrees counterclockwise, you will see what I am talking about.
Starbucks drinks are perfection, BUT make sure not to have any Starbucks pastries directly from the display case. Flies do get in there. Instead, ask for your pastries from behind the counter, where they are wrapped in plastic and protected from Jeff Goldblum's second cousin. These insects are not Target's fault, but due to the display case pastries being unwrapped, it makes a lot of sense for something to be able to get inside.
Sometimes the stock can be limited, but the Target app should tell you if the item you need is out of stock, so just type in that location and you're golden. Plan ahead, peeps.
Sometimes wait is long because they only open a few lanes at a time. Having a conversation with someone you may be in close proximity to is a good way to pass the time.
Lastly, if you cannot resist a nice junk food treat, eat a good meal before coming. They keep all your favorite snacks right at the end of the store before the checkout... teasing you...
TL;DR Shop here for bananas, apples, oranges, potatoes, onions, lettuce, bell peppers, and any leaf vegetable or bagged salad. Avoid the plastic-boxed berries. (Sorry, Target. Not every product can be a winner.) Utilize the target app to see what is in stock before coming. Order Starbucks drinks but do not take pastries directly from display case. Eat BEFORE coming!!! Lines may be long.
Its a great store and I enjoy coming here. Follow my advice and...
Read moreI placed an order online on a 50% one day sale , if you choose to pickup at the store...I am aware they only give you 2 business days to pickup or your order will get cancelled and will get put back in stock.
Any who, so I order on a Wednesday got an email stating I had two business days to pickup and another email stating I had until Friday before 12am midnight or my order will get cancelled, since I was gonna drive 30min to this location because that's were it showed they had item in stock I called store (team svc) to make sure they had my order ready but the lady that took my call mentioned that my order had gotten cancelled and it was put back in stock, lady sound like she did not know what to tell me, I was upset for the fact that I had gotten an email stating I had until midnight that Friday, so I called the next day morning (Saturday) spoke to some nice and helpful lady she said she would help me if they did find order, lady took my information and said she would call me back to let me know the status but since it was almost the end of the day I called back but then I had a horrible experience with the second lady that took my call from team svc, the lady was rude, sound like she was having a bad day that she was taken it on me...she did not want to hear my concern or she did not want to help I even asked for manager and she said there was nobody on site...so yeah not cool at all, sounds like they really have to work on their customer service there...I'm glad I don't shop there, will not go to this target especially with staff that does know how to handle situations...
Read moreAll I can say is that after driving to this store (not a close location for me) AFTER looking at TVs online (after selecting "instore only" on the website and checking to be sure the product was in stock) I was "informed" that the price of the TV I had looked at was $150 more than the price shown on Target's website. The EXCUSE I was given was that Target stores cannot honor "online pricing."
If you give people the option to look at products "only in stores" then show them a price (big, bold, black text) and then claim "no foul" because in small, light grey print you stick the words "online price" - well, in MY BOOK that makes you nothing more than a scammer.
Businesses do have a choice. They can clearly communicate how they do business or they can hide their practices with tricks (like small, light grey text). It makes matters worse (a much bigger scam play) when the majority of businesses have the same prices online and in the store.
Target has obviously chosen the latter, hoping consumers won't notice or buy the pathetic "we can't honor online pricing" BS.
Oh, and did I hear back from Target Corporate when I sent in a complaint? Of course not. They know they are guilty of scamming and they have no intention of dealing with someone who has caught them holding the bag.
That is enough lying and cheating to ensure I never shop at...
