Adventure Speedway — Attraction in Dallas

This Go Kart operation is dangerous!!!! I purchased tickets for 6 Go Kart races for my Grandson and I, but left after only 2 races due to concerns for our safety. I have NEVER seen such a poorly managed Go Kart operation! They have 7 young staffers operating their Go Kart track. These staffers were throwing a football around, shadow boxing with each other, and texting on their cell phones, rather than ensuring their customers enter the loading area safely and securely fasten their seat belts. After throwing the football around, shadow boxing, and playing on their cell phones while their customers are loading into their Go Karts, their staff make a rapid dash down the row of Go Kart racers to just ensure the racers have seat belts on. They did not check if the racer's seatbelts or shoulder harnesses were tightened. I saw a lot of racers with totally loose shoulder straps. I could not get my grandson's shoulder straps to tighten, due to a malfunctioning buckle. I asked a staffer to assist in tightening my grandson's shoulder straps because they were so loose, they were falling off my grandson's shoulders. The staffer also could not fix the shoulder straps, and told me, "He will be okay, he is not going anywhere" (since he has the wastestrap on). I informed the staffer if my grandson gets in a wreck while racing, he will get hurt because the shoulder straps are too loose to do any good. There is a reason EVERY Go Kart track has shoulder straps on their Go Karts - to keep their customers from hitting the steering wheel if they get in a crash. The majority of racers had really loose shoulder straps, but their staff did not care. During our first Go Kart race, I noticed 2 young staffers posted at a point halfway to the far end of the track, assigned to watch for racers that get stuck or get in a wreck, so they can flag other racers to slow down to keep from slamming into the stranded racers. These 2 staffers did not watch the race AT ALL for emerging dangerous situations. So, during our second race, I watched all the staff throughout all of our laps, and could not find a single staffer observing the race for dangerous situations. They were all too busy goofing off. I will never visit this amusement park again. Not worth the safety risk to...

Worst experience ever!! I purchased the wrist band for my 2 sons when i got there.( 29.99) I asked the lady Moe i believe what would be the best package because they only wanted to go kart the whole time. The lady ( Moe) told me the 29.99 package and they would definitely get the 5 full rides because not many people was riding. If not to come back to the register and we would get a refund. We headed over and they had a chance to ride 3 times. I asked the person running the karts what should i do he said go get your money back. Someone can open the register back up. Because at this point it was 7:45 and they was shutting everything down. Went to the register amd Dalton said he was the manager and i should've purchased from the manager cause then he would have said no money back. I was told to come back another day for the other 2 rides. I was told he didnt know why i was told i would get my money back cause he wasn't giving anything back and we owed them money. I never expected a full refund but something since we live over 2 hours away. Not just that but being that we are new to Texas and was looking for a fun experience for a birthday this one didnt end so well. The place does have a smell and could use some work to fix it up some. Bathrooms was disgusting. No mask was worn by anyone staff as well as they didnt sanitize ANYTHING...

We had a great time celebrating my granddaughter's 6 birthday party. Her siblings were much older and they had fun as well. This place is for young and old a like. This is an older place with vintage charm. There were bumper boats unfortunately that day it was closed. That is also why a gave four stars. There were the bumper cars really really fun. We also played miniature golf as well as the gaming arcade. Unfortunately we did do the batting cages or play Lazer tag. That definitely will be another adventure. There was a small eatery which was good.

This place reminded me of long times gone by. It has that nostalgic feel. It was great to be reminded of being a kid again. This definitely is a place I recommend for fun family and bringing out the kid...
