I arrived to pick up my order and was informed it was on back of aisle 25. Customer service rep called for an order puller to the service desk over the loud speaker to have them retrieve my order. There was no line of customers waiting to be helped and three other employees behind customer service desk not helping anyone. I wait and wait another employee shows up at the customer desk chats for a bit and walks out front. I wait and wait some more before asking another employee what the issue was and if I could just go get my order myself. I was told no and they proceeded to call over the loud speaker for an order picker to the service desk. After waiting some more the order puller arrives. Can you guess who it is? The same associate that stopped at the service desk to āchop it upā after the first call over the intercom. Finally he is off to retrieve my order, stating he knows exactly where it is because he pulled it. After even more waiting he shows up with my order and says have a good day. I asked him where a specific item was (a roll of unfaced insulation) he said, āoh yeah I didnāt get it.ā Even though they released the whole order to me. It wasnāt the only thing missing either. What makes it worse is he knowingly gave it to me and sent me on my way fully aware I didnāt get everything I paid for. You have no idea how pissed I was, what if I had sent one of my guys to pick it up and they were unaware of what all was ordered. I wasnāt even provided with a receipt or pick sheet or anything upon pick up. I had to use my phone and the HD app to make sure it was all there. What these associates are doing is nothing short of fraud. If I were you Iād make sure they werenāt shorting customers intentionally and taking that product out the back door. If thatās not the case and I hope it isnāt then they are either too lazy and/or too incompetent to do their job. Period. We arrived and was told by a woman in flooring that since it was being picked up later to go to Customer service and they would send someone back to retrieve what we purchased. The woman that helped us in the back also advised she was too busy to help us at that time. Trusting she knew what she was talking about we went to CS. When someone arrived to pick them up, they advised they did not have what we had bought. Traveled back tonight because of what the woman told us yesterday, they had what we were looking for. I asked for a Mgr. Hoping that since this was their error she would discount the product. I did not get it fully out before she said no, she would not be doing that. Itzel was her name. She was extremely rude and said the Mgr advised yesterday 9/19, they did not have what we thought we were purchasing. I said well it has the same sku number which she admitted was an error on their part, but she could not give me a discount. While I had my doubts about even going to this store we went ahead and went there. Not a store I would ever visit again. I hope if Corporate reads this, they ensure their management is trained on how to treat people because Itzel obviously does not an ounce of courtesy. They should focus on training their people on assisting people and not to assure them they have a product that they don't. By far the worst...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI would like to say thank u again to the manager last night that took care of his customer. Me n my husband went to buy fence poles, siding n sheet rock. We bought total of 13 sheets of siding,12 sheets of sheetrock n 3 fence/gate poles. They were out of stock of sheetrock inside but had piles of it outside. They were having trouble finding someone who could drive the forklift. They found 9 sheets somewhere inside but we still needed 3. My husband backed up the truck I climbed on top of the stack of sheetrock n pushed the sheetrock forward where the employee could pull it down then loaded it. But we still needed 1. 2 sheets were wrapped together. I got down. They found one but it was broken from one of the ends. The employee said sorry ya gonna have to take it n come back tomorrow cuz we r closing. But in fact there were 2 broken. I went up to the manager n started telling him the situation n he told us ok I will take care of this for ya n he did. He immediately had an associate drive the forklift n loaded our truck with 2 new sheets. We thank him. He was very patient with me. I was upset at first.
