I’ll start by saying—this review is way overdue. For context, we’ve renewed our lease every 6 months for the past two years, Everyone has their own story. I’ve worked in property management, overseeing two Class C communities on two completely opposite ends of the Metroplex. They were a quarter the size of Wildflower. Let me say, to those judging from the outside: it’s no picnic. There is a certain amount of grind that’s very different just to keep up. I definitely can understand frustrations come fast and strong when speaking of the property itself at times, but personal attacks or insults toward the staff feel unfair—especially when you step back and look at the bigger picture. If you're considering living here, do your own research: drive through the community at different times of day. Walk into the office with some context—how large is this property? What time of day or month are you visiting? Is the staff being rude, or are they just extremely busy in that moment? Keeping it 100, the cost of living is high—everywhere! That includes property taxes. For this part of Dallas, Wildflower is by far the best value for your money. Many surrounding properties have been bought out and rebranded. Honestly, it was a bit hard reading some of the negative reviews because our experience has been so different. Georgina was our first point of contact, and from that moment, I knew we wanted to live here. Are there other places out there? Sure. But good luck finding someone as committed as her—who will break down every cost, give you a full tour, and still remember your name months later.. Oh yes, and she is bilingual with Spanish and I’ve witnessed her hand gestures and pen to help a tenant with his move-in check list. As for the office staff behind the scenes—they are not just sitting around chatting. Claudia is managing the operations inside while keeping a management’s eye on what’s happening outside too. Our dumpsters are always clean. The maintenance team is out first thing every day and they have shown up every time we’ve needed them. This is a testament to properly and professionally handling such a large property. Honestly, we will leave once my son completes school because transferring to a bigger unit is not an option or we would. This is truly the center of Dallas within a few miles you are in Uptown , Downtown or either airport within 20 minutes. I was surprised to see the low Google ratings for this property. It doesn’t reflect the experience we’ve had—and we’ve been here for two years straight.

Moved to Dallas in 2015 and unfortunately the move was "blind" due to being out of state. If I had known the truth about the complex, I would have avoided the place like the plague. Maintenance is unreliable and untrustworthy. I had water damage in the ceiling of the bathroom and it took a solid month of calling them everyday and then finally a 1am visit from the "head of maintenance" to see the waterfall of water cascading down from the ceiling for them to believe that I had a problem. After they addressed the leak, it took an additional 2-weeks for them to re-hang new drywall. I've had packages stolen from the front door AND the back porch. Neighborhood kids broke my bedroom window; thankfully, I was there when it happened and heard the kids say, "lets just leave". A/C in the apartment went out multiple times and every time it took maintenance about 3 days to even acknowledge the problem. On almost a bi-monthly basis gunshots are fired in the middle of the night. Leasing office staff is incompetent. Went in on January 28th to give notice to vacate and was told that I had to wait until the start of the new month. Went back in 3 separate times in the first week of February and was asked to come back due to the staff being busy. Finally went in and thankfully the property owner was there told her the situation and leasing office girl, Ariel, said that she knew nothing about me wanting to vacate even though she was the one I talked to every time I went in; she eventually got caught up in her own lie by the property owner and was held accountable. Unfortunately, the property manager left and Ariel then said that I had to pay since my notice was late. Tried to get the contact information for the property manager but was only given the Resident Hotline. If you can go somewhere else. Save yourself the time and hassle.

Well, don't let the price reel you in. Yes the rent is cheap, however they have so many maintenance issues that your water bill will be 180 or more each month. Also, maintenance is the worst. I have been trying to get my heater fix since Wednesday. They sent someone Friday... I guess they do not have communication with each other. He didn't fix the issue and left. I immediately email them to let them know if the issue. I gave called the emergency line. They even told me they will text the emergency maintenance person. No one showed up. I told them I had an infant here. It's getting too cold. They did not care. Had to go buy space heaters. Please. I telling you. Do not move here. If this was the only issue I would not be on here. I moved in in September. When we got here there was a drawer missing, dishwasher didn't work, poison sand left every where, drug scale found in apartment, it didn't look like anyone even tried to clean the place. My drawer didn't get fix till December. Same for my dishwasher. I was also told that I would have to pay for my own dishwasher. Lucky for me I could show them it was like this when we moved in. This is the 2nd time heater broke... Again. Maintenance here is the worst. Friendly. But things don't get done right. Now we are freezing and paid rent... But they can't come fix things. Horrible. Worst apartment I ever lived in. Also we got a violation fine... For a balcony that wasn't even ours. We found it on out door the second day we got out keyes... We didn't have anything on the balcony... It wasn't even ours balcony lol oh my, don't move here. Update... The air-conditioning.does not work here . They have even sent out emails of what to expect. I'll to add photos.

DO NOT RENT HERE. Even if you are trying desperately to find someplace to live, the rent here is substantially lower than other apartments FOR A REASON. It is NOT WORTH the headache, stress, and health problems. Rat infestation (appeared literally over a day while we were at work, came home to my dogs not having touched any of their food or water and had diarrhea/vomit on the floor near the patio, apt never fixed this problem, sent written request to have it taken care of and nothing was ever done, we have all of the maintenance requests/repairs they left in our apartment on file and saved), A/C breaking & taking 12 days for anything to be repaired (I was 12w pregnant & told by my OB I CANNOT stay there, uninhabitable during this time, it was the middle of JULY, we were hung up on multiple times by the emergency maintenance hotline, plus being told the reason why no one did anything was because they couldn't find their copy of our key so they just didn't do anything), the management company LOSING our apartment key and NEVER calling me to tell me the person they gave it to never gave it back (one office lady said the last person to go into our apartment would have been 3rd party pest control, but they have no way to verify that because apparently they don't keep track/record who takes the keys!), finding out through a Spectrum technician that the reason why our internet was 1/5 the speed we were paying for was because someone at Wildflower Apartments had been SPLICING our internet cable to multiple other units for at least a month, the apartment itself was dirty and had many broken items in it (all recorded on video and pictures taken on move in day), and the cherry on top: we literally did not live in the apartment the entire final month of our lease and they turned off our electricity (we have proof we paid the electricity bill on time), which in turn ruined the remaining property we had in the apartment (mainly clothes and kitchenware like an electric griddle), which we left for them to dispose of since it was soiled heavily with rat urine and feces (again, documented extensively on video and in pictures), and finally, they sent us a bill SIX WEEKS after our lease ended and we turned in the keys (again, documented) for almost $4k (charged us for september's rent, a reletting fee, an eviction filing fee, multiple late charges, bogus damages, I.E. a total scam) all in an email that was copy/pasted from a microsoft word doc. It's laughable. Not only is that well past the Texas timeframe for returning our security deposit to us (which we weren't expecting from these crooks anyway), all of the charges are invalid because they failed to send this itemized list with that specified time frame (21 days from move out), but they still had the audacity to send us a bill in the first place with ALL of the horrendous health and legal violations. We deducted from the final rent all of the money we had to spend literally to find somewhere to stay while we thought they were making repairs (no, they weren't). They called us and left a voicemail late August (our lease ended August 31) to say they would hate to file an eviction against us for the remainder of our rent we "should" pay, when I called back Cindy (the bookkeeper, she's probably the most incompetent and rude person I've ever had the displeasure of doing any business with) to let her know we were exercising our rights to withhold rent based on damages, she said they would be moving forward with an eviction (this was August 23...8 days before our lease ended...which they billed us for them even wasting the time filing LOL) and then refused at first to give me any information on my account, telling me to get a lawyer if I want that information (got this on recording) before relenting and being incredibly rude about telling me what notes were put on my account regarding the repair requests. TL;DR this place is awful, avoid at all costs, please, especially if you have children or animals. This place is...

Let me get off by saying do not ever rent from these people they are thieves that works in this office I live there for one year pay my rent on time Claudia she's very mean she acts like she's all of that, but she's anit not by far she lets the Mexicans do whatever they want in that complex but when it comes to black people she wants to be nasty toward us she wants to toll blk peoples cars complains always got something to say a neg about black and white people but the Mexicans can live 7 to 10 people in one apartment and she would never do anything about that they come in blasting music & shooting there guns and the complex and security does nothing the min we say something now she wants to put people on no trespass but she lost her Mexicans to do whatever they want in that complex Cindy she the one that rips you off they look for the littlest things to try to take your deposit I had clean up Department that gave me when I moved in the apartment it was blood on the walls roaches everywhere Stole was dirty carpet with stains patches and no light bulbs I merely went and got the property manager who was on duty that day and he was a black guy named Richard Richard then proceeded 2 into the apartment and saw the blood on the wall stove oven dirty walls dirty carpet stain countertop totally messed up frigerator Mission shells crack shells thermostats when I asked the company to let me get my own lighting company they told me they got their own when I ask them to let me see my meter they could not show me one but they always got a light bill and water bill they told me since my apartment was the biggest one that I will pay more water more sewage more everything I think that's inappropriate how they system is is inappropriate how they treat black people when you have a black man that's in there and a reason he's not trying to help his own kind because he don't want to get fired because he told me himself he knows that Claudia and Cindy this is how they operate and he have no control but at the end of the day this place is infested with roaches bugs loud music parking sucks I come home from work and I have to park next building over and klaudia with her nasty attitude acting like she's all of that with her fake butt shots the girls so fake she has to be hard the only thing she doing is hurting herself cuz I pray hope that corporate will see the reaction of people that used to live there and the reaction what we are going through as a African American they always want to threaten you by paying your bills but want to take two months to give you back your deposit they told both of my vehicles I was unloading groceries into my apartment had my vehicle back then because the Mexicans had all the parking Claudia soare my vehicle call the tow people and told him to come and get my vehicle while I was in my house putting my groceries up the vehicle was new she admitted to me that she called them the toll people gave me an app that Davis and told me that she called them and gave them a description of my vehicle and they came and got it and that was the only reason why my car was in the pound I have multiple pictures to show how the Mexicans are backed in the same way my truck was and she have not done nothing to...

I went in march paid my deposit and app . went on the first of april to pick my keys up and paid first months rent moved in april 4th 2016. On april 7th received a letter stating i had 24 hrs to vacate due to non payment of rent and utilities. Went in office showed receipts and was told okay it was a misunderstanding. One week later received the same letter the second time. They stated my deposit didn't go through and that it was refunded to my checking account. That was correct . but nothing but a hassle when i hadn't even been there for a month! They're roach infested! ! On may 2nd payed my rent and utilities in full. On may 3rd they broke into my home after i left i was gone for 45min to pick my daughter up from school and came back to my home been robbed. I spoke to a neighbors near me that let me know that the unit i was in always gets robbed when a new tenant moves in . also stating these tenants i spoke to have lived there one 9 yrs other 4 years. Went to speak to the manager rude to start with i stated i nolonger felt safe and that i felt someone was watching every move that i make being let alone a mother of three why would you put me in a unit that is dangerous and you knew/know that. I requested for my money back. Said no . if i wanted to brake my lease it was 700$ but i had to give 30 days notice Went hours after the brake in to fix my window. Maintenance made it clear that these apartments where the worst ever! Stating these apartments always have brake ins day to day.I knew who it was and so did they. And they did nothing! I literally was scared for my children and myself. Being they are all under 5y.o. they didn't even put locks on the window that was broken into.i made a call waited 2 days after still no one came out i put plywood on my children's and my bedroom window tried to live out my year lease thinking okay we can be okay maybe. I was depressed. My home wasn't a home anymore i stayed locked in my home, had someone picking up my daughter for me and bringing her home. I had no sunlight in my house it was dark. I even requested a new unit. They wanted to charge 600$! So much for them thinking about the safety of their tenants. All they want is money! I have never ever had this situation acure! Where i had been residing before this horrible place was nice been there for 3 years never had a problem. Just that i needed a bigger place and them only having one bedroom's. I would not wish this retched place on anyone. My kids are traumatized because of this my 5 y.o now always speaks about what happened. Do you think they care? NO! 1 week before june i moved out. The robbery of a lady's handbag in broad daylight did it for me. I wasn't fixing to have to be scared to even go outside. I broke my lease i could care less my kids safety always will come first! So y'all go ahead and slap it on my credit but y'all will never see a dime of that. Slumlords! The only ppl that do have a heart are Tammy & Michelle . may god bless you all. With that being said do NOT i repeat do NOT move here it...
