I purchased a $1293 vintage watch on 7/22/22 from Village Goldsmith. The very next day the watch stopped working. I took the watch back on 7/23/22 and Robert the owner said not to worry, the watch had a 6 month warranty. I called Robert weekly for the next few months to get an update on the watch, and I kept getting the same excuses, and wanted to charge me $50 for services even thought the watch is under warranty and no services have been provided. It has been over 4 months now and I still have no resolution, no refund, and no watch. There is no communication or of the staff on the status of my watch.

Update: 5 months later after writing the above Robert had still not repaired the watch. I called and he gave the same excuse. I told Robert it’s almost been a year, his response to me was “ I have other customers” . I was never offered a refund or any thing, instead I bought a watch for $1293 that stopped working less than 24 hours after I purchased it. I have to find someone else to fix...

please please please do not use them I’d hate for anyone else to be in the situation!!

I drop a Watch off that my dad hasd given me to be fixed. the back was cracked and robert said he would call me before he did anything. he did not, he ordered the part and never called me. A few weeks went by so I called him to ask for an update he said that he’s just waiting on parts.
