Okay, so I've got quite a few problems with my recent experience here. For starters, I ordered an 8-count nugget meal with fries, a small ice tea, and no sauce, and they gave me 14 NUGGETS, a medium ice tea, and barbecue sauce. Huh? Now most people might be happy about getting extra food for no cost, but I am trying to lose weight, so all that extra food is going right in the trash. I mean, I might be able to understand the nugget and drink mix-ups, like if the people filling the boxes aren't paying attention, or they're out of small cups so they upgrade you anyway. But the sauces? What's the point of giving sauce to someone who specifically asked for no sauce? It's just wasteful. But whatever, the food isn't the big issue and was the standard Chick-fil-a delicious, which is what kept this from being a one-star experience. See, the restaurant has always been in kinda an awkward spot, which I can see how it would make traffic control for them difficult, but their attempts to manage it have gotten more and more unhelpful, bordering on regressive, with today being no exception. One of the drive-thru lanes was closed, for seemingly no reason. It couldn't be because the ordering machine was broken, because there was an employee out taking orders in person today. But because there were fewer lanes, it created a long line that spilled out onto Inwood road, which is super dangerous considering that the speed limit is a breezy 40, which most people exceed. And I didn't even go during peak lunch hours! I don't buy the potential excuse that they may be understaffed either, because I'd rather them open the second lane and have the poor tortured soul who works there switch from lane to lane taking orders than have a backup on a major street. One girl decided she was too good to wait in line, and pulled out to park in the loading zone between two handicapped spots. The employee saw this go down, didn't ask her to move and just let her waltz right inside and place her order. Seriously? Shouldn't these christian chicken munchers be all about helping the needy? Why would you let some entitled brat put her feet up in the handicapped spots, and get away with it? And to make matters worse, the exit lane was closed too, and I can think of even less reasons why that would be. It made getting out of the parking lot and back onto the road so much of a hassle. Well, what I thought would be a nice quick post-workout meal turned into a real headache what wasn't worth the trouble. Just hire more people, and open more lanes, guys! The job market sucks right now, so I'm sure there are plenty of desperate post-grad hopefuls ready to stand out all day in the heat and unnaturally respond with "my pleasure" to every word you say. Actually, come to think of it, I didn't hear anyone say "my pleasure" to me this time around. Not sure if that made it more or less uncomfortable. Anyway, get your act together. But keep up the good work on...
Read morePlaced a decent size order for my employees at a few different stores. Taking order process via drive thru was phenomenal but receiving the food wasn't. First I was greeted by a very unprofessional lady at the window followed by non-communicative process of receiving multiple bags of food. When I asked to have a couple of sauces, she responded "it's in there." Without checking. I wanted to check my order before I left, but she stared at me and waived me to leave since there were line of cars waiting. And, guess what... I was missing about third of my order and found a sandwich laying sideways making it out it's protective box. Made my rounds delivering food to our employees at multiple stores. Luckily we were able to feed everyone by my wife and I sacrificing our food for our wonderful employees. Thank you Chick-fil-A for telling me everything was in there without checking! Btw we drove back to get our...
Read moreLet me start by saying I love Chik-fil-A (CF), I am a regular visitor and use the app all the time. It is a rare thing to have a problem with any CF I visit all over the DFW metroplex. I have never visited this location, but I doubt I will be back. The line had 4 cars in it and it took 10 minutes+. Even worse, I have just officially had the worst CF sandwich ever! The sandwich was dry, the meat tasted funny and it had zero flavor. I have NEVER not enjoyed a CF sandwich. I went back through the line and told them and they gave me another sandwich and it was the same gross taste. They must have a problem with their meat, oil, bread or pickles here. To finish it up, this CF didn't apologize for the gross sandwich or give their usual well-know "my pleasure" and cheery customer service that CF has become well-known for. The franchise owner better get this place into gear or it will end up like a Taco Bell or...
