Update: -They now have a podcast studio that is what I considered highly on the top 5 of most beautiful podcast studios in Dallas/Fort Worth and it's really affordable. You don't need to be a member to use it! I joined Wax Space since July 2022 and I've loved it there! Pros: -They do a lot of events to promote engagement between the community/ members -Members are diverse -Everyone has a creative flair -They support local businesses (hello delicious Oak Cliff Coffee!) -The space is absolutely beautiful (and inspirational to work from!) -It's a great place to have client meetings in Oak Cliff -You can rent the conference room for extra quietness -It's an affordable coworking space for creatives in the Oak Cliff area -The founders and the team who runs it are SUPER NICE humans -I can always find parking -You can hop to other businesses in Tyler Station if you need anything else Cons: -Some of the seating isn't super comfortable

Wax Space is the answer to the age-old question: How do you make friends as an adult? I didn't know many folks when I moved to Dallas, and it got pretty lonely working remote. Thanks to Wax, I've found an awesome community of new friends, gotten connected to the neighborhood, and learned ALL the best places to eat in Oak Cliff. (We do a rotating monthly lunch!) People aside, the space itself is amazing. I'm way more focused and inspired during the workday, and I never go hungry thanks to the curated snacks from Bingo Market and the on-tap seltzer. Genuinely cannot say enough good things.

Listen, this isn't like other "co-working" spaces. This legit feels like a huge house with a bunch of your friends hanging out and chasing their dreams. Not to mention it always smells amazing... How do they do that?! No one knows. The Podcast studio is second-to-none. Free coffee, beer and wine are always a huge win. So honestly, if your house stinks (figuratively or literally) and you're looking for a space that you can get away and get stuff done, or, if you're just really thirsty. This is the best place to check those boxes. :)

Community, creativity, collaboration…being and becoming. This is what makes Wax truly special. As a member of Wax for over two years, I’ve seen this space continually grow in so many ways, both in terms of what it offers its members, as well as the amazing community of creatives and entrepreneurs i’m surrounded by as well. The owners, staff and interns are so attentive to every detail, and are constantly innovating new ways to make the community and space even stronger. And being connected to many more small businesses throughout Tyler Station, it’s pretty nice that you can get your hair cut, grab a beer at Oak Cliff Brewing, get your bike tuned at the bike shop, or grab some tacos from Tacos La Gloria out back. It really is a privilege to be a member here, and be supported and invested in by so many great people....

I love it here!! As soon as I started working hybrid, I knew I had to get a membership. They are open for members until 8pm, which really helps me when I have to edit in the evenings. I love how it feels private even though you’re close to other people working- everyone is focused and you can come in & out without distractions. But they also have miscellaneous community events so it’s easy to get to know the other members in a conversational environment. Coffee, tea, beer, & rosé all included!! And a spacious fridge for prepped meals or a Bingo market vending machine for snacks.

Everyone has been so friendly! Strongly recommend if you can’t focus at home & want some extra people nearby. Wayyy less expensive than going to a...
