North Georgia Ag Fairgrounds — Local services in Dalton

Went to the fried pickle festival and it was a lot of fun for just $5.00. I love going to fairs and festivals like this. They had interesting booths with clothing, jewelry, artist plus delicious food. I only wish it had been cooler Sunday. I felt like cooked bacon...which they had ...all sorts of food vendors... I had a delicious Philly cheesteak ... Plenty of meat, grilled onions and peppers on a sub roll.my only criticism was that it was a little dry . So I added a couple of squirts of ketchup which made the sandwich perfect. I had never put ketchup on a cheesesteak before this but it honestly was good. The food truck next to this had the best strawberry lemonade I have ever had . I also had Cajun fried pickles. It was the ONLY thing I ate there that I can say was extremely disappointing. I hope the festival will be as good next year in 2025. It is located at the fairgrounds in Dalton Georgia . Give it a try.... I think you...

The wife and I took the grandkids in and they had a blast. there were a lot of people wearing masks there so good for them for being socially conscious and trying to help the spread stay at a minimum. There was hand sanitizer everywhere, and I did notice that a couple of the right attendants were cleaning the rides. The rides look safe and well maintained, plenty of parking, plenty of good fair food, and a live band performing. It was a very good evening. Our son and grandbaby had a great time. The only thing that I'd say negative is that the food prices are outrageous.

5/23/23 Update: Our son and nephew had a great time enjoying the rides, games, animals, etc. BUT........................ The food and drink prices were even more ridiculous this year than ever before (with less options to choose from)! Looks like we'll have to definitely start eating before we go and shorten the length of time that we stay instead of making a whole day/evening of our trips there...
