This is absolutely the worst experience that I have ever had with a restaurant. My wife ate at the restaurant and brought a to-go order home for me. My wife complained to the cashier that something was wrong with the chicken that she had ordered, the cashier ignored her, she complained again to be ignored again.
I opened my meal and found the chicken to be unpleasant at sight and very rubbery when I cut it with a knife. I called the restaurant, asked to speak to a manager and was told, "We don't have a manager". I replied, "I don't know how a restaurant could be run without a manager", "Who takes care of the business?" "The owner, Gloria". "Could I speak with her?" "She's not available, she just pops in sometimes, we never know when she will be here." I gave her my phone number, asked to have the owner call me asap.
I didn't receive a call so I called back the following day, got the same cashier, was told the same story. I asked to speak to someone else and was told that no-one else was at the restaurant, I asked, "If you are the only person there are you doing all the cooking, waiting tables, bar-keeping, running the cash registers, etc?" "No, There are other people here but no-one ELSE that handles problems"
I sent my wife a text, with the contents of the conversation. She called the restaurant, got the same cashier, similar replies. My wife told her that we would have our attorney contact them. About twenty minutes later, another person from the restaurant called my wife back, was polite, and offered to compliment our next meal there. Of course, we will never eat there again.
This is very hard to believe. Luckily, I do have all the phone conversations recorded. I had to select 1 star to be able to post this review, I don't think that this place...
Read moreWe were really disappointed with our experience. The chicken entrees we ordered were all undercooked. The presentation was fine, but the food itself was raw. It seemed like the kitchen rushed through our orders, and the chicken wasn’t properly prepared. While the restaurant did discount the chicken we ate (not our entire bill), it was still concerning because raw chicken is a serious health risk. We didn’t make a scene, but it was frustrating. Service was also lacking. Diego, our server, was polite, but didn’t check in on us much—only came by about four times in total, and after the incident, he focused more on regulars and didn’t return to see how we were doing. We felt neglected, and there was no apology or follow-up. However, we still left a tip for our server because we know how tough it can be to work in this industry. Ultimately, the issue was the person, who just needs to pay more attention to food preparation. This definitely wasn’t the first impression we were hoping for. Sadly, not the best mexican restaurant we have been to. Ranked at our bottom now and we base...
Read moreWent to eat here on a date night with my girlfriend and the whole experience was horrible. We ordered some cheese dip, as one does when they eat Mexican food, and after the third dip my date found a hair in it. When we let the waitress know all she said was sorry and jerked the cheese dip from the table. She came back with new cheese dip and moments later our food came out. While I was eating my burrito I was inspecting it and noticed a mustache or beard hair so naturally I asked to speak to the manager. This lady, who turned out to not be the manager, comes by and ask what the issue is so I start to show her the mustache hair on the piece of steak and she snatched the piece of meat off my fork said there’s nothing on there you’ve been just complaining this whole time. Then proceeded to call us liars. We weren’t even in there 10 minutes and hadn’t ate but a few bites of our food. 0/10 I used to love this place but will not return until management steps up and...
