Friend's Nail — Local services in Daly City

This nail salon is by far the wrost experience I've had. I came in with my niece because she just graduated from high school. I wanted to gift her , her first gel manicure ever. I dont know the names of the nail technicians but at this point it dosent matter. Here is a list of things that went wrong today and why I wont be coming back.

I showed them a Picture of the design my niece wanted, swhich was a black french tip manicure with a cat on the ring finger and cute tail on the pinky. At this point they should have told me if they werent confident to do it! But continued anyway. POOR COMMUNICATION!

One nail was crooked and when I pointed it out she ignored me. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

The woman agreed to do it and said she could. The design ended up looking like batman! Who can mess up a simple cat head! The tail was half assed and painted poorly. LACK OF TALENTED NAIL ARTISTS!

I paid 40 dollars for them to buff out the crappy design and all they did was keep the black tips and painted the most basic and stupid glitter coating and called it a day! FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!

She even had the nerve to say that I should go get nail stickers of cats to put on for my niece. If wanted to have nail designs I should have gone to the mall instead. WHAT THE HECK!

To top it off when my niece went outside, the nail color wasnt even black! It was navy! I hated everything about this experience. Hell I wouldn't even give it that.

Word of advice for those who want to come here. Just don't. They dont care and are not passionate about thier work. They need new...

NEVER. AGAIN. I've been to this place other 2 times and got a good service, but this last time, I had the lady shouting in my face when I questioned the price I was being charged. I always get a simple mani & pedi $27, but this time wanted to get gel manicure and simple pedicure. First that I walked-in and they asked me to come back at 2pm, but at 2pm there was already someone complaining that they've been waiting for 30min at the chair to get a pedicure. For that reason, I didn't get any attention until 230pm. The lady who did my gel mani barely pushed my cuticles, so I asked her to do it again and she apparently didn't like it. By the time the lady got to do my pedicure, the water was cold and she finished within 20min. The chair massage didn't work, and the lady doing my nails seemed pretty bothered with me checking her work. By the end, I had to rush to get my car before getting a fine for parking over a hour, and she charged my card $45!! I questioned why $45, and she charged me $25 fo mani gel (agreed) and $20 (?) for SPA PEDI. Their classic pedicure is $10 and I got a simple pedicure in cold water, but paid $20.....! I was having a bad day already, and her shouting "YES" repeatedly in my face clearly didn't help. Plus, the polish in my nails are full of bubbles and badly painted. Amazing! Traveling through and popped in for the first time, in a rush to go to another appointment in an hour and needed a manicure and pedicure. They had 3 people work on me, each nicer than the last. Service was quick, very friendly, efficient and they did a beautiful job.
