The Cookie Monstah — Local services in Danvers

I had such a disappointing experience with this company. I hired them for my daughter’s birthday party 5 months in advance. I was told that there was no set time frame that they stay, and that the driver leaves after the sandwiches were all handed out. 2 days before the event I received an email stating they were only staying an hour, and that they would give me the rest of my sandwiches to keep for the guests who didn’t get to have them. When I emailed them back, I was told the driver needed to go to another party after mine. They only contact you through email, you cannot have a conversation on the phone with them. But it gets better! When the driver arrived, he didn’t have the ice cream I ordered special for the event. He had to tell my guests that he didn’t have it every time they ordered it, because it was on the personalized menu, they have you create. Then, when my guests would order, he would ask them what was in that sandwich!!! I paid a great deal of money, and was treated like a complete afterthought, when I booked them months in advance. The Cookie Monstah is amazing!! I have tried a bunch of different cookie flavors and I have never found a cookie I didn’t like from them. Everytime I go there I always order a dozen so I can get a variety of flavors. Also their handmade cookie ice cream sandwiches are pure perfection! They are always changing things up and offering new flavors and new combinations which I love. The staff is so friendly and they even have their truck outside which allows people to walk up and order which is great for safety right now with Covid. You can always get there cookies delivered which is a great option and makes for the perfect gift. I’ve sent cookies as gifts from them many times and everyone has always loved them! There newest addition allows you to purchase the dough and bring it home to bake the cookies yourself if you want your house to smell like cookie heaven. I can’t think of one thing that would make this place better unless they invent cookies that don’t make you gain weight because trust me you’ll want to keep going...

Just walking away from the cookie monstah truck with chunk of pure happiness in your hand could easily take the misery out of even the most dismal days. Just found out you have stage 4 pancreatic cancer? Well, that's terrible. Found out you have stage 4 pancreatic cancer then get a cookie monster? Still terrible, but at least you got a cookie monstah.

But in all seriousness these cookies are the highlight of me and my co-workers Friday over at Dewey Sqaure. Every Friday we get the pleasure of talking with "Batman" he is always helpful with what we should get, brightens our day, and is a great representative of the Cookie Monstah food truck. He along with the cookie and ice cream is what keeps us coming back every week.

I would highly recommend and have recommended to multiple people to try and out and most come back saying that was the best ice cream sandwich they've ever had. 5 out of 5! Hopefully I can have them as a food/dessert truck at my future wedding.
