From the moment you step into this Asian restaurant, you’re welcomed by the irresistible aroma of sizzling woks, fragrant herbs, and warm hospitality. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance—elegant yet cozy, with subtle décor touches that celebrate the beauty and diversity of Asian culture.

The menu is a delightful journey across Asia, featuring dishes that highlight the best flavors from different regions. Each plate is crafted with care, blending fresh ingredients, authentic recipes, and just the right amount of creativity. The pad Thai was perfectly balanced—sweet, tangy, and savory with a satisfying crunch from fresh bean sprouts. The sushi rolls were fresh, artfully presented, and bursting with flavor, while the dumplings were silky, juicy, and steamed to perfection.

One thing that truly sets this restaurant apart is the attention to detail. The flavors are bold yet harmonious, every dish served at the perfect temperature, and the portions generous. It’s clear the chefs cook with both skill and heart. The variety of options—from mild and comforting to spicy and adventurous—means there’s something for every palate.

Service here is exceptional. The staff is warm, attentive, and always ready to recommend a dish or explain the origins of a recipe. They create a welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel like more than just a guest—you feel like part of the family.

Whether you’re dining in for a casual lunch, celebrating a special occasion, or grabbing takeout after a busy day, this restaurant delivers a consistently excellent experience. It’s the kind of place you look forward to returning to, not just for the food, but for the feeling it gives you—comfort, joy, and a connection to cultures rich in flavor and tradition.

A visit here isn’t just a meal—it’s an experience worth savoring...

J&J Asian Cuisine and Lounge is a new Sushi, Hibachi and Chinese restaurant in Danvers. It is sparklingly clean and very attractive inside. A large bar dominated the front room, with comfortable seating and plenty of TVs for sports. The atmosphere was relaxed and fun. We started with drinks, and we ended up sampling all the different Mai Tai recipes they had. Good job all around but we preferred the White Mai Tai the best! We got one of the appetizer combos, gyoza and hot and sour soup. All the fried food was light, crisp and tasty! The soup was one of the best I've ever had! The best was the gyoza though with ginger sauce. We also ordered three sushi rolls, the spicy red snapper, yellow tail and scallion and a sexy roll. Salmon sashimi finished our order. The fish was fresh and delicious! Our favorite was the sexy roll, with shrimp tempura and white tuna! (BTW... most photos were taken after we started eating! We just couldn't wait!!) We were very impressed with this newest addition to the Asian restaurant offerings in the area and we do plan on...

I'll start with the advantages of this place: the food was fresh and beautifully decorated, the waiting time was not long, the server and the bartender were very hospitable and helpful.

The problem started when my son went to the bathroom and discovered that there was no toilet paper. The waitress just gave him a couple of thin paper napkins and didn't even apologize for the inconvenience. When my husband went to the bathroom 15 minutes later and asked the server about toilet paper again, she suggested that he can use a hand drier. For drying what, may I ask?

30 minutes before closing they started to clean the hall, right in front of us, and my toddler daughter slipped and fell. And no one apologized also.

I understand that it was our personal experience and the situation with the paper and with the slippery floor in front of the guests are probably accidental, but the aftertaste was...

The restaurant is beautify inside, very calm and inviting, and there are plenty of seats both at the bar and booths. I really like how it’s setup and at lunch time it’s actually relaxing which I can’t remember the last time I thought that while out to eat. The people are so friendly and you can tell they really care about the business. Prices are incredibly reasonable especially in these times, I was surprised even the drink menu is priced below what I’ve seen at most places today. Food was very fresh and I have no complaints! I you have to make 3 trips basically, one for the regular food, one for hibachi, and one for sushi! There’s a lot to offer. I’ll be going back, the north shore area needs an Asian cuisine place like this, and I was impressed. I hope they do very well! 🍚

The owner or management has changed. Im pleased with the larger variety of menu offerings, very fresh ingredients and clean cooking. We had szechuan chicken, white rice, lo mein, chicken finger, crab rangoon and beef teriyaki. All were of superior quality to comparable area establishments. I did not try, but am excited about ramen, dim sum dumplings, and sushi. Sushi chef on site was working the entire time we were present. There is a variety of special Japanese crab rangoon being pushed. We ordered before we knew or would have tried. Very friendly staff and great drinks. Custom mai tais are also being offered with seasonal fruits and customizable levels. We will definitely be back!
