A Dress Change — Local services in Danville

I consigned 3 dresses in June 2022. When I checked on the status in January I found one was sold, one was still there, and one was returned. When questioned about receiving the $$ for the one sold I was told in a very rude fashion that I would have to pick up the check (I don’t recall being told that at the time of consignment). When I went in to pick up the check, I asked for the other two dresses to be returned to me. One was immediately found still for sale, but they couldn’t locate the second dress. I called a few times, left messages which weren’t returned, and finally reached them only to find out they simply don’t know where the third dress is (it was not returned to me although that is what their website stated). At the time of consignment the sales person was not friendly at all and was equally as unfriendly (bordering on rude) when I went for the check and dresses. I would not recommend consigning any clothing...

I had some issues with the customer service. Unfortunately the staff are RUDE and have complaints about their every own costumers. One of the staff members complained that the customers are TOUCHING THE ITEMS. It is a store, is it not? I personally had a bad experience and noticed some Prejudiced or Bias coming from the staff. I asked about a USED item and before she showed it to me she said, "I want you to know what the price is... yeah, didn't want to get your hopes up." I don't know why she would say that. I will not be returning to the store again. I've been to a MUCH MUCH better corner shop that sells top-notch, high end BRANDS where the staff and customer service...

So this is a consignment store right??? I went into the store to talk about making an appointment to review some items I had for possible consignment. Michelle, who I assume is the owner manger, she acted like it and didn’t tell me differently, Was not very helpful or expressed interest in making an appointment to see my items. I told her a couple of the items were high end (she recognized the line) - her non interest in even looking at the items or making a definite appointment to see them - telling me I could come in in the early hours (around 10 ish), but couldn’t guarantee she would be able to look at the items - sorry - I’ll go...
