Fareway Meat and Grocery — Local services in Davenport

My local store, 53rd St. Davenport, Installed a good bicycle rack at my request. My bike is my primary means of transportation. Fareway has demonstrated time and again how highly they value all their customers??? ≈========================== UPDATE: The store moved the bicycle rack from near the front entrance & put it way back next to the stinky dumpster for some reason. This is likely a violation of Davenport City parking ordinances. Complained on store website but got no response. 2 days ago the rack was buried in a snow drift. The smoking area was placed near main entrance where the bike rack used to be along with some seasonal items. Guess management doesn't care about...

I have been hearing from others how great Fareway meat dept is. So I decided to check it out for myself. I purchased ribeye steaks, pork chops, produce and a few other items. Groceries were reassembly priced. The store seemed brighter and better organized compared to the last time I visited which was years ago. I was pleasantly surprised to see all the changes. Also I have to say the steaks and pork chops were mouthwatering fantastic. The workers were all pleasant and helpful. I will now check out Fareway more often since I actually enjoyed my experience compared to the store I remembered years ago. Plus their meat dept is definitely worth the trip in. Change really...

Saturday night, the store is busy as all get out. I'm in a jam, on my way to a family event and forgot diapers! (How did manage that?) I have my kid with me, and I don't take him hardly anywhere with covid. I called, whoever answered (I think his name was Adam), went and checked the diapers, told me the brands/prices, and then brought them out to my car! I can't think of any other grocery store that would do that on a whim! He went above and beyond for me, and never rushed me or made me feel like an inconvenience.
