1 star for the worst experience at a hyvee ever! Just went to turn in cans on the 14th of September 2017 at about 11am they only had one person in customer service working that day, a clearly disgruntled employee who hates his job and possibly his life. This elderly gentleman with long white hair and a beard was the epitome of a jerk. When it was my turn to turn in cans he simply gave me this blank, dead, what do you want glare and i pointed to the cans and told him all i have are these indicating the TINY amount of cans i had on the counter, not even 5$ and his quick condescending reply was WHATS THESE? In one of the most unfriendly tones ive ever heard anywhere hyvee or otherwise. Went to mcdonalds afterwards and was amazed at how much better they were with customer relations ITS RIDICULOUS. Hyvee is supposed to be known for their helpful smile in every aisle. This hyvee on west locust in davenport is clearly and exception worst store ive ever seen wont be going back ever. Gotta walmart even closer i get treated better at sad too say but true hyvees going WAY downhill. Wouldve given it 0 stars if it...
Read moreI am a regular shopper at this hyvee and especially since it’s my neighborhood store. I never have eaten at the new restaurant that they built inside of hyvee so I decided to eat there this morning and I truly regret it. First off the cashier was not good operating a register. The patties were too soft like and the eggs weren’t right. I wanted to grab a manager while I was there but I honestly didn’t want to be “that customer “ or didn’t want the manager to think I was looking for a free meal so I let it go and I paid and left. My conscience kept eating me and I had to leave a review because what if someone else experiences...
Read moreGreat staff, that's what's getting them 2 stars.
However, this location has been massively overwhelmed since several other pharmacies in the west end of davenport have closed up. I've been coming here my entire adult life for prescriptions, but I can tell when a good thing has run its course. There is regularly 6-7 people minimum in the line inside the store. The drive through is no different. And you can count yourself lucky if you wait 25+minutes to get to speak with someone only for them to tell you data entry is behind and it hasn't been filled yet. Leading to repeating the entire process over again.
Get someone who works in process improvement in here. They have the staff and infrastructure to be great, but it's clear we aren't running a tight ship...
