We had ordered a full kitchen package from Zeglin November 29th 2021. We had purchased the extended service plan for the fridge, dishwasher and stove. Specifically asked the salesman if they would service our area and stressed that I prefer American made as I want a quality product. The salesman had looked up our address and said yes they will service our area and that Whirlpool has a quality product that Zeglins will work on if there is an issue.
The fridge, stove and microwave arrived April 6th 2022. We had offered to coordinate with my father who ordered a kitchen package as well to save them on trips to our area as a courtesy. During the delivery, they had suggested that I install my own handles on the fridge.
May 19th the fridge/freezer had stopped cooling, the ice had melted and left a puddle of water on the floor. Called Zeglin and they had told us we may want to call Whirlpool directly as they may be able to get to us sooner. Called whirlpool and did not hear back. Called whirlpool 5/23 to follow up as we had not hear back. Waited on hold for 35 minutes only to be told that Whirlpool does not have service people for our area.
We then called Zeglin's back and let them know what we were told by Whirlpool. The salesman was completely rude and said "That's all they said, we don't service your area and hung up?" At this point I had suggested they come get all of these appliances as they are not standing behind them for the $770 we spent in service plans. The salesman says they can come get the fridge and cancel the dishwasher as it had still not arrived. We requested to have the service visit scheduled, we were told they would be contacting us to coordinate.
We did not receive a call back, my wife called to follow up and received a disrespectful attitude as well. Finally Zeglin's said they would let us use a loaner fridge. Still had not heard back about a service visit. 6/1 Called Zeglins to discuss the service visit and was told they have a part on order and they are not going to look at the fridge until the part arrives (which can take 2 months!).
During this call we had asked about our washer/dryer that we had purchased from Zeglin's in 2018 that is now having an issue, We had also purchased the extended service plan on them. We were told to reach out to someone in town to look at them even though we paid for the extended service plan.
Between the kitchen package and the washer/dryer we have spent $8,500 with Zeglin's and have never been treated so horribly by a company.
Zeglin's does not deserve your business and will not stand behind their product. We now have a $3,150 fridge with a $400 service plan sitting on our porch inoperable with no timeline on a solution.

So it only got worse, and worse, and worse from that point on! It was completely paid for and it was two months later before I received it. Then it was like two months later before the 1st time the repair guy was here. Then it was a few months later before he was back again. This time he had to get a few new pieces to repair of it. That was another month and then when he came to repair it. He was kind, and fixed it perfectly. We can hear the difference between now and the first time they set it up. It's now level, and I will not have to go do laundry at the Laundromat all the time!! I've not even had it for a year, and it didn't work for 1/2 of the time I had it. The repair guy was awesome, but the two that set it up for us, should have done it properly, then I wouldn't have needed the repair guy to come over here three times!! They owe me a year warranty. Service representative came to my home and was completely unprofessional, telling me he "needed to pee". Also, swore about 20 times while here. Told me that a service representative from Samsung had told him in a meeting that, "dollar for dollar samsung spends more on the little led lights and making it look pretty than they do on the functioning parts. Also telling me not to tell anyone this. Also, representative lied on my paperwork saying that my husband had "messed with the dishwasher a couple of times". He said that I said this. I did not say this and it is a total lie. This makes no sense as clearly parts were needed to be ordered so what could we even do but wait the 3 weeks for the appointment?
