Eastown ShoppingCenter has seen better days. It used to be a thriving shopping center that was crowded on weekends and afternoons. Nowadays, it’s lucky to see a handful of people during the busiest shopping times of the year. I’m sure most of the people there are there because of the Eastown Bus Hub too and only shopping there because it’s convenient when you’re waiting to transfer or get on a bus. The shops that are there as of today (10/15/18) are: CVS (CVS closes super early every day and closes their massive metaL blinds!,) save a lot, GameStop, $1.00 Store (only like 1/2 of it is actually $1,) Aaron’s rentals, BOOST, Cricket (I think?,) VillaGe Discount Center (not sure what this place is,) premier rentals ... and some place called city-wide appliances. I can’t think of anything else except the Eastown Bus Hub and 5/3 Bank. The whole Shopping center is pretty run down...
Read moreI go here multiple times a week for counceling doctors and Save-a-Lot. The dollar store, 5/3rd bank, Gamestop, CVS, and Save-some-change are nice welcoming places. Cheap and they got the groceries, items, and products you may not need or do need but not severely. The rest of the olaces have rude customers, vagrants, people buying dope or are very high. There are a couple dealers that loiter in the lot who wait for people to leave the treatment senter behind bob evans to offer them product that will kill people. They sit by Key Bank occasionally. The shopping center needs security and a Subway or some cheap food establishment and it'll get a better rating. I dont see littering often its usually by the ETA hub but that is a separate entity. 3/5 until security or a quick food...

The Greater Dayton RTA east transit hub is located in the Southeast corner and serves buses 2, 3, 4, and 11 which go to downtown Dayton, & bus 23, which goes through east Kettering, and Centerville to the Dayton Mall and Greater Dayton RTA's south transit hub.
