Jeff and Gary's — Local services in Dayton

Wanted to provide an update review.

With these tough time and in the middle of a pandemic, it should be known that Jeff and Gary's Barbershop go above and beyond by taking the necessary measures to ensure the safety of their clients. During my appointment, Jeff made sure to sanitize the chair, his equipment and himself both before my cut and right afterwards. Additionally, Jeff was in a mask, worn properly, the entire time and made me feel very comfortable knowing the shop was clean and Covid free.

While normally the shop will allow walk-ins they have changed the procedures to appointments only and while that may be incontinent for some, it ensures that appropriate social distancing measures are in place and I can't thank them enough for that. I have had my haircut a handful of times during the pandemic and all these measures have been present and I never had to worry with social distancing as Jeff made sure it was just me and him in the shop during my appointment.

I don't know if Joshua can't read or maybe doesn't know how to listen but Jeff and Gary's closes at 1 on Saturday and I myself have gotten several haircuts around that time in the past. Not only is this place a neat store due to its vintage old barbershop look, with many retro old signs and portraits , but the barbers themselves are excellent. I get a haircut there at least once every 3 weeks and a beard trim once every two weeks and have never had a problem with them nor the service. I have had my hair cut by Jeff for about the last year. Got good cuts, but had to endure his pontificating on many topics. Always tolerated it until my last visit when he opined that Dr. Fauci needs to go back to the laboratory instead of being so in love with his TV appearances. Jeff does not believe the scientists know what they are talking about as their advice changes frequently. Scientists continue to learn while others do not. When I expressed that “He went to Walter Reed, All we got was the Dump virus”, Jeff told me I needed to leave.
