I used to love going here when they opened a few years ago. However, we just had one of our worst experiences at a restaurant and will not be going back. Normally I will give restaurant staff the benefit of the doubt. I have worked in the trade myself and now how stressful/unforgiving the environment can be. That being said, this experience was terrible and I feel the need to warn others.
To start, we are greeted by a less than thrilled cashier, to put it mildly. We place our order anyway and go sit down to wait. We soon find out why she was upset. A few minutes later a customer walks up to the counter complaining that his food is taking too long. To be clear, this customer was yelling, using profanity and being an overall annoying dude. However, the reaction from the staff was terrible. The cooks and front of house staff start arguing back with the man and enticing him. We watched for around ten minutes while the staff argued with this man instead of simply refunding him and asking him to leave. Children and families sat and watched as a customer and staff argued back and forth like children.
After all of this our food still wasn't ready. Makes sense since the staff was more worried with arguing than doing their jobs. However, about ten minutes later (we're at the 30 minute mark now), a staff member comes out to ask if we are waiting on our food. The same person who TOOK our order half an hour ago. So yes, we are still waiting on our food. After this the worker walks back to the till, prints out a ticket and goes to the kitchen. It was obvious that they are just now printing out our order and starting it. Half an hour after the order was placed. However they did not feel like it was important to update us about this apparently. Of course, I asked them to cancel because I was done at this point. I then wait at the till for another five minutes while they try to figure out how to refund my order.
Long story short, this place has fallen far from it's former glory. The staff was obviously more concerned about arguing with a dissatisfied customer than actually making our food. I will not be going back here and I would not recommend this restaurant to anybody in it's...

Upon arriving the woman at the register expressed that she would only serve me without a mask only if I was sitting down and not standing up. My discrepancy stands with the fact that their line cook was not actively wearing a mask. Once brought to my attention that I was to wear mask to receive to go service, I pointed out that their staff wasn't even following suit to the governor's mandate to which they responded by having the line cook put on a mask but only wear it below his nose, which still defeats the purpose. Afterwards the woman tosses my order on the counter without expressing that my food was ready. After a few minutes she decides to tell me that it was my food. Within this time of waiting, I watched her take two shots from the bar, which I'd imagine isn't appropriate in a workplace environment. ย ย ย Read moreHere for the vibes on a friday night. The tacos disappoint, but everyone likes the nachos. My FAVORITE here is the churros. They are full of melted caramel goodness and they always come out hot. they fill my heart with joy. I would eat one every day if i could. I also like the queso and salsa and that they come with endless free chips! I am also a big fan of the frozen strawberry margarita. I have never had a bad experience from the bartenders. They get it done!!
EDIT: The bartender Lee has been known to add tips or change tips on my friend's receipts here. TAKE PHOTOS OF YOUR RECEIPTS and use a cash or a credit card as opposed to debit. I will still go here, but avoid Lee if possible.
The bar will also be out of frozen strawberry, and if you ask if they have frozen strawberry, Lee will say yes, process to make you a lime margarita (the Rusty) and put strawberry syrup in it. You will then be charged for a strawberry and an additional dollar for the syrup. JUST TELL ME YOU'RE OUT!!! I WILL DRINK A LIME MARGARITA.
