Wow, just wow! I visited Tru Saloon for the first time with my 15-month-old son, and from the moment I called ahead, I felt completely at ease. The team welcomed us with open arms, and what could have been a stressful experience turned into something truly special. When I arrived, I was greeted early (such a nice surprise!) and offered a choice of drinks. I went with coffee—much needed as a tired dad—and Alayna, the receptionist, even held my son so I could enjoy it. She showed me around the shop, which had beautiful handcrafted items made by the staff. That personal touch really stood out. Tyler was friendly, funny, and reassuring, instantly making me feel comfortable about bringing my little one along. Then came April, who cut my hair. She was patient, listened closely to what I wanted, and waited while I pulled up a photo reference. The team even brought over a chair for my son, but Alayna kindly offered to play with him instead. She drew pictures with him, kept him entertained the entire time, and by the end, he didn’t want to leave her side! I honestly wished I could have paid her, too, because her kindness and care were incredible. April’s skill is truly impressive. The haircut was quick but flawless—every detail exactly how I asked. She even shared helpful parenting tips during our conversation, which made the whole experience feel personal and genuine. When I saw the final result, I was amazed. April’s talent made me feel years younger, and her professionalism really shined through. I am so glad that Tru Hair Studio personnel put a sign out by the main road. I have been wanting to go there & finally I did & I'm very happy I did. I knew when I walked in to check it out that this was a company for me. Everyone was very friendly & professional. I made an appt for that very afternoon. My hair stylist was Brad & he was absolutely wonderful. Friendly, professional & did my hair exactly as I wanted it. Brad is my permanent stylist. I had an outstanding experience at TRU Hair Salon! I saw Kim and her wonderful assistant. I walked in with bleached blonde damaged hair and a terrible cut to feeling like a million dollars walking out! Kim is an artist in her own right. After sharing with her my concerns and what I wanted to achieve, she made it happen! Her assistant was exceptional as well with the blow out and styling my hair. She too was very informative!
