The Runaway Spoon — Local services in De Pere

This post is long overdue but because we still have family and friends asking us years later “who we catered from for our wedding?”, I needed to leave this review!

My wife and I got married at The Ledgecrest Reserve (Green Bay) in October 2022 and although that day was about us, we wanted each of our guests to have a very personal and intimate experience on our big day. We absolutely love trying new restaurants/food so one area that would allow us to create a unique experience for our guests was with the selection of hors d'oeuvres and plated meal options for our guests.

Chefs Tim and Lindsay took our vision and absolutely blew us away. From start to finish, they were unbelievable professionals, answering our questions and making recommendations where they could. With their farm-to-table approach that focused on quality, freshness, and local ingredients, we let their expertise take over and were extremely happy with how everything turned out. I’ve listed at the end of this review what my wife and I selected for our guests.

If I could give Chef Tim, Chef Lindsay, and The Runaway Spoon team more stars, I absolutely would. They were a blast to work with and I absolutely recommend The Runaway Spoon if the details of this review resonate with you. You will not be disappointed!

Simply amazing creation of food !!! Tim and Lindsay’s love and passion for creating amazing food not only created us an outstanding meal for our wedding day but really left a lasting impression on us and our guest’s for a great end to the day . We couldn’t have picked a better caterer to carry out our vision of a family sit down meal . It was such a great experience to sit with them planning out our meal. I highly recommend getting to know them and learning how their passion for food is created With the love that they share and followed through with impeccable service ! They took our vision and made it come to life along with being super easy and accommodating in every step of the way ! They truly went above and beyond ,we truly felt like we received over a five star experience on food and service for half the cost . If you are reading these reviews you have found your caterer! Lindsay and Tim catered our daughters wedding in Egg Harbor two weeks ago and did an absolutely fabulous presentation of amazing and delicious foods! Their “Spooners” catering staff walked around with hors d’oeuvres, weaving their way through our guests to make sure that no one was with out food. Our buffet foods were fresh and healthy and beautifully displayed! Lindsay is a very talented pastry chef as well and the desserts they made were crazy delicious! Our guests raved about the food all night long and days after! Lindsay and Tim are extremely helpful and easy to work with.
