9planets comics and collectibles — Local services in Dearborn Heights

Was in there today with my family ☺️ "9 Planets" provides a cosy, family friendly atmosphere for all ages to enjoy. From big Marvel titles to the individual indie ones, you won't have trouble finding something for yourself. As an avid Black Cat (Felicia Hardy) and Spider Gwen fan, I easily walked out of there with 30+ comics of my two favorite girls! Their comic selection is well organized alphabetically with big titles like "Spider-Man" and the sort popping out in different areas of their selection. This is joined by Anime, Wrestling, Horror, Band, and DC merch. (FUNKO Pops, Figurines, etc.)

The dude at the counter was pretty rad, friendly and down to earth. Ben made our experience just that much more memorable by providing us outstanding service and by overall all being a great guy.

Comics are reasonably priced, most being 4-5 bucks. Funkos being 15-20 bucks. Some signed merch and retro items 🕸

Definitely will be popping back around for another visit...

My first time in was last week, and I bought Star Wars 1-6 from Marvel. Yes, the comics from 1970s. Now I have first appearances of all the original Star Wars characters that I love. The store also had boards and bags, which have become more scarce since the pandemic. Their sign said, "The Boards and Bags are calling out to you!" which any collector knows is true these days. This store also staffs some huge WWE fans and memorabilia, which deserves support just for that alone. Great vibe inside and knowledgable friendly staff. A hidden gem! Don't miss out. I signed up for a pull list my first time in, which gets you a discount on everything in the store. The only critique I have is that they have a smaller selection of graded comics (CGC/CBCS) ["slabs"] at the moment. However, I'm sure they'd be happy to go on the hunt for one if you're looking because that's just how the staff...

Recently starting coming here and it’s now part of my weekly rotation. They have a great selection of books, toys, games, collectibles etc. the prices are MORE than fair, in fact I feel a bit bad that they aren’t pricing things a bit higher as they are worth more and sold elsewhere for more money. I got a variant last night for $5 (cover price) and had paid $15 at a local competitor a few weeks ago.

The staff here is really great as well. I’ve met both Ben and Jacob. Oddly, they have the same names as me and my brother. They’re very helpful and have a great deal of knowledge.
