Embarrassing to the Mexican community because it is a Mexican restaurant in a non Hispanic area. First visit was not great but figured it was because they had just opened their business. Went another time for a carry out order of chips and salsa. The hot salsa that was given to us was spoiled. This was after they screwed up our simple order. Tried one more time and the waitress was horrible and rude. She acted like we were inconveniencing her by being there. There was only one other person there so two tables must be too much for her to handle. The place is still dirty with bad service. The waitress screwed one of our orders and insinuated it was our fault. I thought that was why they wrote the orders down. Most Mexican restaurants get established before they don't care about food quality or service but this place seems to figure that they opened a Mexican restaurant so the work is done. Now they can sit back and watch the money roll in. It is embarrassing to the Mexican community that they are being represented by lazy people that don't care. A Mexican restaurant should be an experience of a proud culture. Not lazy business people who capitalize on a popular food. Eat at...
Read moreFood was nothing special. Go up the street for better food and service. Can't understand why the city keeps letting them cook outside and then bring food back in. From stove to plate is how food is prepared. Food we ordered seemed to be the frozen kind bought at the supermarket just adding beans and rice on the side. It's like a bad Tex-Mex. They would not let my husband split his order to try a chicken and a beef burrito. Never have we been to any Mexican restaurant that would not let one split an order. My husband grew up in California. He said it's by far the worst so called Mexican food he has ever had. He's had better from the roach mobile for lunch. Nothing of a kid menu at the time. Son's plate was so hot he and I both burnt our hands. Asked the waitress for another plate and she just seemed clueless about it. All the plate had on it was two Taco Bell style tostada's. No need for a piping hot plate seeing how TB comes in a box. They ran out of Coke. Would have been nice if they just put in another Pizza hut or sit down burger joint. We had been hoping the place would have been something new and great. However, we...
Read moreSo I have a mix feeling about this place, the place was clean and Mexican music playing, here's our food my daughter ordered tacos and my son got chicken nuggets and fries and I got Chicken tamales, as you can see in the last pic they were green and that freaked me out. So I asked the waitress why and she gave me a confused look and left to ask the cook and apparently all cooks there make them different and this guy mixes them in green tomatoes, well I didn't care for them as my daughter said "I guess they weren't that good if YOU aren’t taking them home" (where I plan to see if my Mexican bf will like them) 2nd the beans were semi warm/cold. I told the waitress that and she said she will inform the cook, but its sad I have to bring them home just to heat them up. So all and all Idk if I will go back if the cooks make there food differently depending on who's there. The one plus is the bill was 21 for 3 meals and 3 pops, I just wish my food...
