Every single time I buy ground beef or chicken, I get physically ill after eating it. About 3-4 times now because I keep thinking “there’s no way the store is that bad. Just has to be bad luck with batches.” I thought the first time was just a bad batch. 2nd time I thought maybe we got the end package on the day before restock and it just happened to go bad. Nope. Turns out they’re leaving it all out for multiple days longer than it’s supposed to be in the shelf. Last pack of chicken we got made us stop buying chicken from there. It was basically white and so slimy and gross. It wasn’t even covered in juices because they had turned to jelly. I do believe the workers here need retraining. I plan on calling corporate to let them know. I’m not allergic to anything food related and I’ve been physically ill from both ends every single time I’ve eaten meat or chicken from this specific store. We order through doordash as we don’t have a vehicle right now. We get molded and squashed fruits and veggies too. Maybe just shut down the produce and meats sections of this specific store. They obviously don’t know what they’re...
Read moreAs much as I love Aldi's, and I really do. Shopping there is a problem. The new store in Decatur Illinois is twice the size as the one they closed. It's been rumored that Aldi doesn't want the expense of electric carts..well that's really sad, when others (Walmart, Krogers, Save alot,...etc) and many others have them...this is very disappointing to me...as a result I seldom go to Aldi, as many others that I know...It makes you think that they don't care, or put their customers first, l I ke other stores do...my rating would definitely be a 5☆, if...
Read moreMy family has been going to Aldi since I was a kid. As a chain, I could not recommend them more! They have lots of dye free, gluten free, and normal food options and we spend on average like $20-$30 less when we go to Aldi.
This location has, historically, been exactly what I'm looking for, but this last visit was a little disappointing as far as produce goes, which is very different from my previous experiences with Aldi. However, I brought back the produce that went bad overnight and got it exchanged quickly and easily.
They have a register open and now they also have plenty of self...
