9/2024--i am sorry, but enough is enough and too much is too much.

I believe this place has lost sight of their mission. Furniture here costs as much as in a gallery store. I walked in to $500-1200 price tags. This is no longer serving the community of Decatur, but the wealthy of Madison and Huntsville who come here to shop "on the cheap".

It's not a new problem. It's just grown out of control. Corporate greed infecting the not for profit industry of secondhand stores is absolutely insane. I no longer stand by my comments and review of five years ago.

5/2019: Thar be treasures here! They charge full freakin retail when they get donated in-box-new-bulk, but on occasion there are some great finds at good prices.

I'm not changing my five star review or editing my original comment. I meant no harm to HFH, the ReStore or anyone else. I love the place. You'l find steals and deals and there is amazing stuff here, and they pretty much provided some top tier furniture for my house.

You pay for quality and new. Responding to the owners response. It's still worth it.

Think this Way Habitat Store JUST MADE MY HABITAT HOME HOME SWEET HABITATHOME where I live now and I love it. Just can I say anything to fix or remodeling my palace I bought in Habitat for Humanity YES Some time I re adapters are necessary but I have what I need it was A LOT OF FUN AND WORK. in a very GOOD PRICES. I LOVE THIS PLACE ...only now my home are Happyly full and complete GO TO VISIT THIS PLACE..YEAH...

This place you have to shop frequently to catch the good things at a great price. Most things are not the same all of the time. There are some things that they carry all the time. If you like thrifting then this will be a good store for you on home repairs and buying...
