Hey Sugar Candy Store — Local services in Decatur

This place is wild! They have every American candy and soda pop that was ever made or almost anyway. I was awwhed by their large selection. They make their own waffle cones and ice cream. I had a traditional cone with a mouth watering dip of German Chocolate ice cream. Wow! I noticed some model cars sitting on a shelf in front of a tv but soon realized it was a miniature drive in cinema and the tv was the big screen. Adorable. There is something for everyone here. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. A definite stop for those visiting. The staff also directed me on this sleepy Sunday afternoon of a few other places might like to visit. Worth a look & for some of us a look back to our childhood...

Just came in here on Oct 15th..bought candy from the bulk and chocolate bins ..chocolate pretzels are very stale...no bueno..I threw them out...also chocolate almonds were then also stale...do u guys every change your chocolate bins..I w thing that for $17.00 1 had 7 pieces of candy in it ..and a candy bar..then when I went to pay ..it asked for a tip..uhmm no..I did the work and candy is stale..sorry ..will stick w atomic for now on...u guys need to better ..3rd time in store..was dead again ..on a Saturday...

My family and I live in Burleson, quite the drive from Decatur. We stumbled upon Hey Sugar one weekend as we were killing time until dropping my girls off with their father. My kids were over the moon excited for all the different candies, ice creams and sodas that they offer and I personally was excited for all the nostalgic childhood favorites I found. Though we don’t get to make the trip near often enough, it has become a “must do” when we are in town. I highly recommend Hey Sugar for any of those with a sweet tooth...
