Main Street Mall — Local services in Decatur

This a nice little antique mall that we usually try to stop at every time we are in town but after today we will never go back. The ladies that were working the counter took no time at all to start talking about how awful I looked in the shorts I was wearing, how big my legs were and how no one has morals anymore and how people walk around almost naked anymore. Well, ladies I was in a T-shirt that covered my bottom and shorts that were about 4 inches above my knees and if standing with my arms down to my sides they are around 4 inches below my longest finger tip. I understand that they are older women but at least wait until I am out of your store before you talk about me. You lost money today. My husband had some items in his hands to purchase and when I mentioned what I had heard he sat them down and said let’s go, we will never come back. I couldn’t even say anything to the women when I walked out for fear of crying...

I asked to see some items out the case and she told me can't I see the price tag on them. I told her no I can not.Then she asked me do I intend on buying anything. She didn't want to get anything out the case for me because I have tattoos and a beard. She even called the next door neighbor over at the guitar shop because she was uncomfortable I was there. Other people were in her shop and she treated them with respect. I would never go back to that store or recommend it to anyone. I have never been disrespected more...

Cute old school Antique Mall with a variety of interesting stuff. The woman owner (I think) at the counter was very nice and made us feel welcome.
