Eagles Paleteria & Shaved Ice — Restaurant in Decatur

We went here last night and try to go fairly regularly. The people who work there are always friendly and helpful and the store offers a surprisingly large selection for the size of the business. Last night we got horchata, a slice of tres leches cake, 2 shave ices, and a packaged item. Everything was delicious and it was so reasonably priced. We’ve gotten elotes, mangonadas, ice cream, conchitas, fruit bowls, and other aguas frescas in the past and have enjoyed everything we’ve gotten. They have some new smoothie bowls they’re offering, and boba(!). They were out last night, but next time I go in and they have some available I’m getting a boba horchata. Everything was packaged good for delivery, even put drink in cup holder, and in a bag so was easy for driver to carry. Very interesting choices from this place, was hard to choose what to try everything was perfect from the refreshing hibiscus lemonade, the perfect sweet churro, and moist slice of tres leches. The corn cup was also delicious something I was skeptical about but really enjoyed. The big leap of faith was trying the crazy apple, I complain a lot about not enough sauce but this had way too much. We ordered shaved ice and we were kind of high maintenance because one of us needed to have something with no artificial dyes and they had 2 shaved ice flavors that were suitable. We chose the strawberry with cream and it was an hit! Another one of us ordered the green watermelon and it was so good. Like a sour, then sweet flavor. Reminded me of sour patch kids.
